I saved for ten years and finally had enough for a bike it’s not a Harley and It gets mocked for being a poor man’s Harley but I couldn’t give a stuff it’s mine and every time I ride i have the biggest grin like no other as I’m sure you will have with your new baby ,it looks awesome by the way

I love this - well good for you, when I was 25 I was saving up for a Virago 250, I would go in each month to the dealership and pay $50 I ended up not getting it as I couldn't afford it - I made 5 months of repayments and they gave me my money back - I bought for first Harley at 31 it was an 883 sporty ! Never did i think I would ever own a Harley - I'm just fortunate I was a born sales person and found Real Estate, because I'm not that bright academically, hated school and always hated authority. I will ride with you !

@@danielhayes-domore nice one, I left school at fifteen worked all over Australia and now I’m a maintenance fitter with four kids so getting my vstar or as I call her Death Star took awhile ,my wife nearly passed away ten years ago so it drained the savings but I got their in the end the trick is never give up m8 it’s obvious you are a bright man to get to where you are hard work pays off

One of the best colour schemes I have seen on a cvo. I do the same as you do regarding bike purchases, the price points are much lower but feel it's worse because I love all types and styled of motorbikes. Being passionate and doing what makes you happy is someting that no one should apologise for. A road glide or street glide is next on my radar though. Thanks for the entertainment.

I quite my job at Harley six month ago they are having bikes built in Thialand shipping them back to the States and rebadging them made in the U.S.A and have the hide to charge more for them. Buying a Harley now is a crapshoot wether you really get an American-made bike, but from 2021 onward they are all made in Thialand in one way or another I will stick to my old Harley a real American.

I just bought a 2008 ultra classic last week. I don't have your kind of money. So I have to buy some a little older. I used to have your kind of money and I used to order a new bikes all the time. Great choice Danny, I’ve got the last of the twin cam CvO R.G ultra, 110, (i removed the tour pack & install it on long trips, (quick release)), you get a shock at how quickly these heavyweights accelerate from 0-100, Ive smoked a fair few 117s that weighed a lot less than mine. I agree with you. The previous gen CVO RG were the best. I have a Bronze Armor 21 and love it. Heavy but in a good way for a tourer. Enjoy and ride it in good health.
