I’m a Barb main and I think this was needed. It made a lot of people branch out. Barb has been #1 almost every season. They tried nerfing it last season but it wasn’t enough.

Barb has always been my favorite class. I just bought D4 a week ago. It infuriates me to no end how badly he's been treated this season. I'm struggling hard just to get ahead. I've completed the season at least and may just be done until the expansion releases.

My bleed ww build from last season can do 90-150m bleeds. Around 250-300m dps. Barbs are trash tier this season. You are required to get 2 more mythics and more gear to be far below average.

Save Barb. Bring other classes up, slightly nerf barb. Not Gut barb and restart the "op cycle" on Sorc.

The highest hitting ww barb on bilibili clearing a 135 pit hits 1.5b dps. So min maxed it’s not terrible but still lower dps than all the other classes.

We all felt that way for 4 seasons bro compared to barbs. I dont like they giga nerf something tho... Making another class the ultra broken class in the game is lazy. They should actually balance the classes so the meta would not be so ahead of the non meta builds.

What makes me laugh is we dont want a class to be over used so we are nerfing barb. Now we see a sorc everywhere, doesnt even need a mythic to do t7 horde. This is the problem with these devs is they nerf a class every season and buff another its so sad.

Great video. I’m doing fairly well using your build at level 100. Though, my internal hordes 7 clear is SUPER slow vs burning butcher when he’s chosen and the bosses. Enjoying bettering my barb steadily.

I dont understand, How do you even generate fury for using the whirlwind? I dont have all the gear, but I do have all the aspects for your no Unique Ancestral, but I open with the shouts and the fury goes down quite quickly and I end up with the shouts on cooldown and no fury. How you manage to enter the fight with fury

when you are using Enchanced Whirlwind you automatically generate fury as long as you are hitting an enemy, this works as long as you're constantly hitting ememies. Otherwise you can do one of several or a mixture of these: have fury per second affix on your body gears such as chest armor, helmut, pants or boots. Have the aspect of Berserk Fury (generates 6 fury per sec while berserking) on your jewelry. Have at least several tempers that have good rolls on resource generation.

higher AS would increase the amount of hits while WW, thus increasing dust devil procs. Higher AS affects the animation too, so it would technically even make the tapling method better as well

Andariel poison rogue is hitting between 400-600 mill easy, poison proc hits well over a billon. Cleared pit 139 today. Yes i survived but man those mobs have a lot of life.

Nick, the other major youtubers (Perra, Rob) ignore attack speed for WW barbs. Are you sure attack speed matters for WW if you are spamming the attack key?

You will need Tyrael's Might which gives you arrays of barrage while you are at full health. At higher content they don't do that much damage, but does help a bit on clearing mobs and of course looks cool. If Blizzard didn't nerf barb this season this would still be one of the top builds.

I don't get how they think it's okay to nerf any class this badly. The goal should be to get them more or less on the same playing field, not gut a class into oblivion. I've been trying everything to get any barb build viable for hordes. Whirlwind was the most tanky but it took forever to clear tier 7

My 90 barbarian could do t3 compasses. I start doing the bosses to get Duriel mats, equipped their gear and can barely do lvl 2 compasses now

Honest question here, I’ve got all the pieces of the non-mythic build going, all 4/12 masterworked but am capped at T4, can’t for the life of me survive a T5 to start farming ingolith. Any tips on surviving and doing more dmg? I have 44% crit chance and 1600% crit dmg, and running iron skin/iron warrior aspect. What am I missing? Thank you!

Group with ppl from dc, or farm some pits to get strong enough. You do nothing wrong the barb is just super weak, I got 6 mythics sit on 5100 crit dmg 71% crit chance and still fall short on dmg

make sure you are armor and resistance cap without grandfather the dmg will be poop aim atleast 40k+ health find a group for killing duriel/andariel and lilith for the 3 sparks and with some luck you might get a random mythic to salvage and you can buy the papi for 4 sparks also yens blessing boots are great to have for res and shout upkeep

Can the mythic Barbarian do good? I'm thinking about tking my mythic items off my Sorcerer and trying my barbarian but if he can't survive i don't feel like wasting the time building his set to just try it and then find it isn't good. Thanks to anyone who could answer this for me. I leveled my Barbarian to 100 this season and then seen how weak he was and rolled a Sorcerer and got all the mythic items. The Sorcerer winter orb lightning bolt is destroying my PS5 controller from the spamming of buttons, the R2 and L1 are already feeling well broken in and the controller is only two months old but has had three weeks of everyday button spamming every second.

Running the same tree with Wrath, Resource pots, MW Fury per second onthe 12/12 boots, and a ring of starless and that Ramaladni is still destroying my fury and can't sustain :(

Yeah, I've built bash barb and WW, and WW is definitely the easiest to build and goes way harder during the build. For bossing Bash barb the same as this, So over all its just worse.

This is the issue with diablo. 0 end game, it's laughable. Infernal hordes is a ton of fun as a mass-farming piece of content. But farming for what... More infernal hordes. If the dev's just watched 2 hours of some of their competitor MMO's like lost ark, bdo, WOW-Albeit each have their own shortcomings, the avg. play time for them is far greater than d4 retention. Why? Because they have END GAME CONTENT. D4 is 0 end game and only farm to farm to farm faster and farm. Lmao. Lots of gamers these days are looking for challenging, not impossible, group-not gatekept content that is fun to play. I'm all for infernal hordes as a means to farm your char in d4 up to endgame, it's got great loot. Good progression. Etc. But there is no endgame. When will they learn? Probably too late now and they can reap the financial reprecussions of piss poor decision making by the devs to release a 10+ year game that isn't even 10% of the other MMO's content available to play

compared to other class, barb is kinda under performing. Lightning spear sorc, andariel barrage rogue, ak47 druid, stormslide druid and bone spirit necro can easily clear T140+. WW barb probably B tier around Pit T135.
