I've been trying to figure out who Alex reminds me of, but I couldn't think of his name until now. You remind me of Eric Bana! How you look and even how you talk, it all reminds me of Eric Bana. Obviously this comment has nothing to do with your video so far, so let me turn my attention back to the video. If I ever decide to do van life, I'll probably get those stackable 270-amp hour batteries (and the system to go with it of course).

@@brandonyoung181 Too many variables. Kind of like mileage in a vehicle. It's enough to get you through a long 90F night in the desert, plus power lights, refrigerator, TV, Wifi Router, Computer, etc.

As soon as they come out with a silicate salt battery instead of lithium phosphate, they will then have the best battery for van life. Unfortunately, the big manufacturers have already spent so much money on lipo technology, they are not willing to invest in this new and far superior tech. So far, only one company(Bolt) has produced one for retail, and it is grossly overpriced...it should be far cheaper than lipo just based on it's materials(and not requiring a BMS), but they are trumping up the "newness" and way overcharging. I have to wait a few months before I buy batteries...things are changing.

Little late to the party, but I’m considering building a complete off-grid c4500 ambo but I want enough power to have normal appliances running with a tower pc+ laptop due to the nature of my work. Now I’m no electrical engineer but that seems like a high demand for a build in general. I also want to incorporate shore + solar but I’m not sure how that would be attainable.

With 1200 Watt solar, 3k inverter and possibly 1k Amp hour batteries. Very power heavy overlander beach promo vehicle for our documentary film.

The way you just easily rotate the big battery is crazy. I had a hard time lifting them with full body 😆

Nice shop setup .. have you ever considered a build using something like the all in one EcoFlow .. seems like less work and fewer failure points
