the scharnhorst is not invincible. its hard to kill if your dumb and don't know were too shoot it. but if you know where to shoot it it can easily be 1 tapped one of its ammo rooms are lightly armor and a half salvo will pen and kill it in 1 shot

Increase the battle timer. "dont get close to enemy ships" don't worry, with a 30 minute battle timer you LITERALLY cant get near enemy ships or spawns if you try lol. No idea what crazy person decided to make 'realistic' naval battles have a shorter battle timer than air battles.

They also have smaller maps than most land battles. So some of the open sea maps you start at almost point blank range for BBs

@@Robert53area yeah.. I don't mind smaller maps so much, I love some of the naval maps. But for me the naval timer is a massive joke. I think they should make it one hour and just double all point requirements to win. Just slow the gsme down generally. Make it so you actually can get to the enemy spawn to sink their convoys etc and so there's a point to moving in formation.

I tend to agree. arizona is a worthless battleship that is more then OP on paper but shitty in battle. Kongo and hyago is leaps better then american battleships.

With the longest reload time for the main guns, the Arizona has almost double the reload time of PK. it is also slow and has rubbish AA. The ship is not even in the top 5 of Battleships. Do you guys ever look at the in-game stats before you create your videos? I'm sorry but you got this one all wrong.

I totally agree with you. Although the arizona has a nasty HE shell with 40kg. I am yet to find one threatening to my Kongo or Scharnhorst. I will have uocked it soon myself so I'll be able to run it through its trials

i just unlocked my first battleship the U.S.S Wyoming its alot of fun more than i thought it would be. id personally love to see the Alaska and West Virginia (after refit) and the Alaska would be perfect to go up against Scharnhorst i know Alaska isnt a battle ship and you didnt ask for opinions on other classes of ship but shes just so cool. oh and not that i play the french tech tree but they need a navy. how cool would it be sometime in the future of the game to have the Massachusetts vs the jean bart.

@@Stavrosstavrosstavros there are lots of ships to add to WT that were actually built, before adding paper ships. With their addition rate it will take years. Maybe for particular nations like Soviets that hadn't had real life ships similar to other WWII battleships.

How or where can I recommend for future updates, the addition of more units or certain improvements? It would be good if, as in land and air vehicles, there are even the most modern ones that are the same at sea or that one more tab be added in nations so that the player can arm his forces with the units of different nations without the need to use a nation every time he wants to use a specific unit. that would be great!!!!!!Cheers

WOW player here. I gave up on War Thunder, after grinding for God knows how many months, just to get a Corvette. I estimate ten years of playing no other game, to get one example each of a; cruiser, destroyer and Battleship. WT is broken.

quick tutorial on battleships in WT: all Soviet battleships with SAP that with 1-2 salvoes (from 12 shots (!)) destroy anything even hitting the water near the belt, or hyuga-kongo which are even more op. end of the tutorial

Could you guys do something about the Arizona? It is awful, The AP round pens but does no damage and the HE round is not good against anything above light cruisers. Either change the reload or give it a decent SAP round please, I love the Arizona and grinded for it but it is very disappointing.

You can really tell who in the comments has actually played naval and who hasn't. I've seen at least four faces I recognize here as good naval players - including two naval content creators - who think this list is fundamentally wrong. Everyone in the naval groups I'm in disagrees with it, including yet another WT ship reviewer. There's a lot of factors that go into this and the list does mention some hard facts as well. However, I think that saying that (release-state) Arizona with its a-historical reload and anemic bursting charges is top-tier is completely false. It also leaves out Scharnhorst, which for our purposes is a battleship, and easily in the top three. There are other iffy statements, but those are the two most noticeable ones.

Kongo's also future-proofed as in her 1944 fit, she has fire control radar whenever they model that )))

USS Arizona? Are you guys joking? You have it an unhistorical reload rate of 60 seconds meanwhile in reality it was closer to 30, you made the turrets miserably slow, there is no SAP or high capacity HE, there is no AA defense, the armor is alright but that's really the only pro.

I think for Bismarck to be added there would have to be a few more WW2 era dreadnoughts to balance it. For example, I personally think that the Queen Elizabeth class battleship should be added, or maybe the King George V. The latter would be more likely as it has 14in guns, however I doubt other british captains would mind the 15in (381mm) of the Queen Elizabeth

Gaijin is really lagging behind in graphics. The quality and definition of wave effects, splashes, and explosions are sub-par. Ship movement looks outdated. WarGaming really has an advantage here. Gaijin effects need a total overhaul.
