Bohol is a great Island and Panglao with Alona Beach is definitely a jewel My first visit was 2008, been back a bunch of times, it's a combination of things there, the beach is gorgeous, the little stretch of shops and restaurants, all work well together. Recommend for a few days for sure Only 7 odd thousand more islands to visit

We spent some time in Alona Beach. Although not the best beach in the whole of PH. It has it's charms too. I remember clearly how beautiful the sand in the beach was when swimming. Under those waters when you walk on it felt like carpet. Even Bacuit beach did not have that carpet like feel under waters. Bohol is so beautiful ❤

While on Panglao, i suggest you visit Dumaluan Beach, just a few minutes away from Alona. The sand is whiter, more powdery and the beach is whiter and much cleaner.

Andrew what island hopping package did you get or did you take 1 of them OMG I'm craving for a Philippines island because the beaches of the Philippines is very competitive in the whole world since they have the most crystal clear water however Thailand has a good rock formations but when it comes to the water the Philippines is the best 👌 keep rolling khao jail mai kha ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hi. Sadly we didn't do the island hopping tour this time around. Next time though definitely. I am in love with the beaches in both Thailand and Philippines. I do think the colour of the water in Philippines is more amazing. ;-)

I spent a few evening at Alona beach, it was rather boring at night for nightlife, I did some tour to some Island there one trip, it was ok.

@@AlwaysonaJourney About 6 months before the country lockdown I was at Alona Beach, My last entry in Philipppine was May of 2022 after they opened back up, I broke my hip on my motorbike in a accident had to spend 9 weeks in hospital and flew back to US in July. Neve was able to walk for 6 months had to have surgery redone in USA since they used parts too small for me since I am tall. I am about 85% and walking now, I will go back to PI once I am 100%.

BOHOL best beach is Dumaluan Beach...its peaceful..longer and wider than Alona..It is also in Panglao..must have visited before you leave Bohol

although the actual beach may be nice, the hotels and surrounding street scapes are horrible. your best to stay just outside of this cesspool and visit better spots

The 🇵🇭 is a top notch beach destination, the waters here are mostly beautiful and clearer than the other parts of SEA, though for me Thailand 🇹🇭 has the edge in terms of infrastructures and other types of tourism as well as in Bali. But when it comes to beaches, i ain’t lying that 🇵🇭 is on the top. Feel free to argue :)

The beaches and islands of the Philippines is out of the world beauty like if you saw that bohol is the best for you well i think you never go to TAWI TAWI Is. BALABAC IS., Amanpulo of Palawan and batanes is. in the north its trully heaven. Thailand best beaches is nothing to compare to the Philippines and thats facts. also the water of the Philippines is very clear like no other crystal clear blue mixed with lemon green color.

Regarding the color of the waters in the beaches here, i've also heard other vloggers say the same thing, that the waters here are bluer or more turquoisey. I think it may be because of the abundance of limestone as it's actually the limestone particles floating in the water that gives it that color. It's the same even in some of the inland bodies of water here like in Kawasan and Tumalog Falls in Cebu or Cambugahay in Siquijor. And of course the lagoons in Palawan esp. in Coron as they even have towering limestone cliffs. I guess that's why Philippines won World's Leading Beach and Dive Destination last year at the 29th World Travel Awards. ᵔᴗᵔ

It’s true better change your euro in big cities or in Manila has higher rate ..or better yet have bank card called wise it’s for free …you can use it anywhere in the world,you charge your bank card online and withdraw anywhere …for internet SIM card hola fly so you have internet anywhere ..😉✌🏼🇫🇷

Yes, we went to El nido and many parts of palawan 5 years ago. It's amazing. I would say it's the most beautiful i ever seen. This vdo is about Bohol, so I couldn't mention something else that was not related to the bohol. BTW, thank you for your opinions. That means a lot to us.
