I just got back from Leyte. The WHOLE trip was stress free and relaxing. The moment I landed at L.A.X. for a transfer flight back to Texas, I immediately felt the stress. First off, L.A.X is a nightmare to navigate. Secondly, the people were not friendly, from the workers to the flyers. No one was smiling and greeting each other. Twelve years till I retire. I am counting the days!

What makes these videos so special and enjoyable is the interactions with the locals and being out away from all the touristy areas. How many times do you need to watch videos of the same mall, over priced resort, 5* hotels, etc. and no interaction with the people, I've seen it once, don't need to see it again. But these videos it's always something new and the people you meet and actually talk to are what make these great. Thanks for showing us the real world side of Philippines, not just tourist hot spots, and the friendliness of the people.

After living in Japan, China, UK for many years and visiting many other countries I have realized that while in the US you may have a bigger house, a bigger salary, a better university, in other countries even for average people the food most people eat everyday is better (and cheaper), the fun they have every weekend is better (and safer), the cities they live in are better (and more bustling), the history/culture they experience is better (and more interesting), and the women they see everyday are prettier (and well mannered). The US has positives too (great outdoors, work opportunities, diverse, friendly people) but the truth is I guess we are rather boring haha. I certainly can understand anyone who decides to live outside the US. Enjoy life where ever you are!
