Grabe kakamangha kung ganu kamahal yung accommodations sa Panglao. Kala ko mahal na sa Makati or BGC, dito lang pala matatagpuan pinakamahal na property rental sa Pinas. Hahaha. I didnt know Panglao had gone this far as to pricing point. Hope they evaluate that as this can be discouraging to possible visitors.

Great video...A really good tour of part of Bohol. What impressed me the most was the fit and finish on the homes. Much nicer than a lot of other islands and areas. It may not be the same spec as here in the USA, but that's part of the charm, and part of the reason I will retire to the Philippines in 3 to 4 years... Thanks again, I just put Bohol on my to do list when I come back in March!

Good that you do a vlog on availability and prices, found 15k for a room with two singles expensive , guess the neweness could be a reason ? over all they were all over the top, as have been to Philippnes and Bohol and there are better deals for potential renters, and the virus should result in lower rent costs for foreigners and Philippenos, time will tell ! cheers.

eric coyle, Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. I agree with you. I think the prices will drop if they go empty for a while. Also, a little negotiation would probably get a lower price.

I really like your videos even though I'm not one of your intended audience. I'm a 30 something business owner in Manila but we do have properties in Pampanga and Bulacan. What is different with informal renting here from those offered in condo units in high rise apartments is that you can often haggle with them to lower their price. For example, the prices here are a little overpriced, I think. And with a little bit of haggling could be lowered much much more. Although, I suppose, if the area is a tourist destination and most are willing to shell out for the prices given, the standard price could indeed be higher. Amazing content either way!

If you can make local friends you'll get a good deal on house rentals and buying property. Never ever buy property in philippines if you don't have a local accompanying you, you'll be rip off of the price by the land lords and land owner. And buying directly on fisherman, butchers and farmers will save you a lot of money, for example i only sell my king mud crabs around 850 pesos to 1200 pesos depending on their size but in panglao they sell it around 2500 pesos and I'm one of the huge supplier in panglao so i know they way around there.
