Major thing: have a mic. Also, always steal executions if the person who downed is dead. I've had teammates not execute the guy I downed and have him get revived

The thing with this game, or any game in fact on the ps4, is that everyone can record their playing via the share button. This is a very powerful tool for analyzing your fails and your wins.

I can't tell you how much i learned to love this game and... this video. I'm an Uncharted, AC, NFS player mostly. I can kick ass in those games, but it took time a lot of frustration and the games always have issues here and there. The Remastered version, allow me, is flawless! In UC i'm a rusher, in AC i'm too patient, which over the months took my patience... This game is just the combination of both those gamesthe, the type of play, i mean! I've been playing MP only for the last 3 days and its just awesome. You just made it even more fun: after these tips ive gotten more parts, more epic moments and a lot faster progression! However I would like to point out that one thing beginners do is always being too careful and not helping out other team mates. The best advice to be given to anyone is to be close to your team mates at all time but not clumped up together. Run around, people need to learn how to learn and when you see your team mates running run with them and provide support.

I played interrogation with the squad 3 weeks back and when we reverted to Supply Raid after the match to check our scores I ended up dropping 56 downs, 48 executions and only 7 deaths against players all above lvl 500. The game is easy to master but has a steep learning curve with regards to the gunplay mechanics, map knowledge ect..

its a great game, and most things are balanced yes however team balancing isn't and is a major issue for me, 9 out of 10 games I am in are all one sided, all the highest ranks against all the lowest, the game is over within 3 mins, the next game begins with the same unbalanced teams, its a complete joke, its a shame as the game itself is very addictive and fun to play when teams are fairly balanced in rank.

liam taylor It's a very different player base than it was a year ago or at release. The selection pool is much smaller, and it's much harder to find players to match with at lower levels. At release, it was actually very good at this.

Lucky Plays I agree, player numbers are hard to find, I don't mind going against players that are higher in rank, what bothers me is that you have a game with four high ranked players and 4 low ranked players (under rank 5) instead of two low ranks and two high ranks per team to balance, the game just throws all 4 highest players against the lowest, the games over within 5 mins, yet the teams remain the same in the next game. really is a shame when the games are balanced its very addicting and fun to play.

Are you choosing "No Party" lobbies? That would make a difference. Though, I do admit, once TLOU matchmaking makes a group, it doesn't shake that group up very often between games.

Great video. I played the game very little on PS3 and found it hard to get the hang of. As i've been playing the PS4 version I'm actively searching for tips and hints to improve my abilities at this game. It is very addictive and fun, but that fun can wear off if a person keeps failing. Psianide Delirium Be patient. Like I said, focus on the small victories. Like that one kill that was just perfect. And turn all those deaths into learning experiences. It is a VERY hard game to master. The curve is very steep. You will get it, and once you do, you will have a game that provides immense depth…and a lot of fun! after a year, I'm still learning and trying new tricks. Lucky Plays Thank you for the helpful advice and the words of encouragement. I am getting better, but still find myself making newb mistakes, but I'm fine with that because I'm doing it less and less because I can now recognize quicker when I screw up what I did that was a mistake. I can tell there is a huge learning curve just by the flow of action by seasoned teammates as well as opponents. For now I mostly play a support role, but sometimes I forget and try too hard to outgun the other team, which I'm just not skilled enough to do yet. Thanks to your video along with the PSN and Reddit forums I have a much better understanding of how to play better, so hopefully I'll improve and be more useful to my team.

I have 3 level 999 accounts in relation to factions multiplayer and I can tell you first hand that the easiest way to rank up is to just pair one of the semi automatics with sharpshooter 3, First Aid 1 and Scavenger 2 and you are all set to dominate if you can nail firing rhythm and get constant headshots.;)

Thanks for the tips, now I know more less how to play. I'm used to playing cod. And rushing the enimes and Kinda being reckless. I kept on trying that on the last of us. Doesn't work. Can't escape or juke bullets like in cod or quickly revive someone . I'm a team player And when i see someone is in a firefight or down, my instincts is to be the hero and kill the enemies and revive my teammates but can't really do it on the last of us. There are Some dlc weapons you have to buy, but Some other weapons (mostly purchasables) can be unlocked by getting supplies. The more parts, the more supplies. You can also pick up the blue stuff from the map when you kill someone; that's supplies too. Don't worry about spending. The amount of supplies is decided by the total amount of parts, not the amount you end the game with.

***** Sure. I've been where you are at. This is probably the most frustrating part of your journey. Hang in there. 1) Play the single player and use the gun that you intend to use. Practice aiming quickly. Popping in and out of cover and going straight to a shot. You can also fire up a custom match by yourself, and find a target on the map to work with. (Also a great way to memorize the maps.) 2) LEVEL UP YOUR GUN AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. It affects your aim, and your recoil, and your rate of fire. You'll be a lot more accurate at Level 2 than Level 1. 3) If you are dying a lot, start thinking more about your position. Are you putting yourself in a spot to get flanked? Are you alone? Are you too far back? Are you using cover? Smart positioning can reduce your exposure a lot. 4) Travel in the pack and aim for targets that other people are aiming at. Even assists make a difference. 5) Healing and Reviving make a difference. They win games - pure and simple. And last but not least, HEADSHOTS HEADSHOTS HEADSHOTS!

One say in special execution. Do it when your team is winning perhaps or at least when you are all suround and only your self. Execute either way cud your gonna die anyway. Lvl 999

LMAO! Helmets are purely cosmetic items that you can choose to equip in place of the default helmet that shows up when you have armour. Armour doesn't protect against melee.

Eric Peterson No need to equip it. You use the melee button. SQUARE, if I remember correctly. It will auto pull whatever melee weapon you have (fists, stick or upgraded stick) and hit them with it.

In my opinion at this point in relation to the game life cycle the loadouts discussed are irrelevant, the reason being that the majority of players now run bomb expert, the cheap ass bitch purchasables, sharpshooter 3, tac, shorty ect.. But hey that's just my opinion and nevertheless I respect everybody else's.

I think for this video, it still applies because this is for beginners and before you unlock everything. SUPPORT is still probably the best to start with... but only as a beginner.

Stick with your team for starters. Perhaps you should run covert and a stealth loadout - crouch and hide. Sounds like they are flanking you and using listen mode to exploit your vulnerability -
