1-2 foot waves are great at Orewa. Good for longboard as well.

Spot on buddy. We do get sharks quite a lot of bronze but are ok. GW are becoming more popular recently. The mount up to cross pony club papamoa is getting more crowded. I rarely surf the mount in summer because of this. But yes a great place to learn and holiday. I’m ex Newquay now living in pap east 😎
