A Beginners Guide to PC Water Cooling Fittings - How To Water Cool in 2022. PC Water Cooling can seem like such a stressful thing to imagine, there are so many products out there and for a beginner where is the best place you would begin? Well i have created this beginners guide to pc water cooling fittings to try and help address some of the fears some people might have in regards to water cooling and which are the best fittings people should buy for their first water cooling loop. I will cover both soft tube and hard tube fittings as well as a variety of fittings which are an optional purchase. If you beginners follow this video carefully i explain what each of these pc water cooling fittings are used for and which ones are the best fittings to use in your first water cooling loop and why.
Let me know if this beginners guide was helpful and i will continue to create more beginners water cooling guides to try and answer any questions beginners might have.

These videos are absolutely essential. After watching these videos for any length of time, any and all information related to water cooling is amazing for novice water coolers, such as myself. I have all of the parts to convert my PC, and have had them for months. I'm only nervous because I've hit a simple stopgap in my planning(after 6 months of hardcore research, ordering exactly what I need, etc). Any and all information from veterans is appreciated across the spectrum, I feel. Keep up the great work! Love the systems and the information provided here, while simple and direct, was definitely and is definitely useful.

You are psychic sir. I'm currently building my first liquid loop and am at the point where I need fittings, aaaaaand this pops into my feed. You should follow this up with a practical use video where you actually put some of this to use and maybe go over when and where to use some of them and how to figure that out., as in I'm pretty sure I need an offset or two but I only have 2 hand to hold t squares and rulers and still see a small number on the side of things, and if I'm having trouble I'm sure others are as well. You do some nice builds btw. Top notch work.

Good on you Cory, call it like it is. I've got 2 rigs and they both have needed double-45's (in conjunction with a short male-to-male extension) to join the top radiator to the front radiator. As for flow meters... Corsair's GPU blocks used to have(?) a visible flow meter and their forums were full of "my spinner doesn't turn all that much, have I got a problem?" queries. As you said, another (unnecessary) point-of-failure and an unwanted concern for people new to water cooling. Another fitting I like is the Bitspower T-block rotary and use it to tap off my bottom radiator for a drain port. I have also used one to put a temperature sensor stop fitting into a loop.

I use hoses and a water block from AquaComputer, it often gets clogged (1 time in 3 months), I just had to disassemble and drain the water every time, so I bought a filter from AquaComputer that is easy to clean without draining the water and without disconnecting the circuit. And also, I disassembled the closed type of 3 different coolings and all had a clogged water block.

What do you think of Automatic Pressure release valves? Maybe the filter and pressure release valve for better monitoring of the filter/maintenance, or just the automatic pressure release valvr on its own??
@DesignsByIFR
@DesignsByIFR 2 жыл бұрын
You mean the pressure release fittings up the top of reservoirs? I can see they have their strengths but to be fair a water cooling loop will and should not generate so much pressure that it will fail. If a user is worried about pressure they can always loosen the plug fitting up top every once in a while. If you have the extra $$ there and want one for ease and piece of mind then that is up to the individual. I more made this video to show users they do not need so and so fitting and they could be saving this amount of money eithout them

Majority of fittings are copper/brass which are similar metals on the galvanic corrosion scale so those two are fine to mix, the other type of fitting is aluminium, you definately do not want to mix that

Although I really like the content of the video’s from time, I love the builds from time to time and the content of this guide. I think Corey has some good idea’s now and then. I just don’t like how the video’s are presented. Take this video for example. Who desided this is the BEST guide? And why does “best” needs to be in capital letters? Why does Corey needs to shout “watercooling” in the beginning of this video? And in other video why does the price of the pc has always to be in the title? It feels like he wants to be to famous. @Corey: just make good content and the viewers will come automatically. You don’t needs this populistic cr*p. Your better than that.
@DesignsByIFR
@DesignsByIFR 2 жыл бұрын
I think you have overlooking it completely the wrong way mate. Firstly price is usually (not always) included because people want to see builds at different budgets, we just happen to focus on a lot of highend stuff. Secondly if you dont like how i speak i cannot control that, i am not boring and monotone, thats how i speak. Thirdly yes i believe this is the best guide so i will call it the best guide, (my decision nobody elses) , everything i watched is boring and dragged out instead of straight to the point. 4th i do not want to be famous, that is the last thing i want. If i wanted fame or money then this video would have been dragged out to increase the watch time and packed full of ads and many sponsorships. I think you really need to dig into it abit more before throwing accusations

@@DesignsByIFR I'm sorry if I offended you. As I said, I really like your content. There are just some things that bother me as a viewer. I know you put a lot of hard work in your builds and video's. I appreciate that a lot, and that's why I'm already subbed to your channels for some time now. My criticism is not to throw some hate, but to show your where I think improvement is possible as a viewer. I just want the best for your channel.
