If I may also add. Once you have "roughed" out your pipework you can then fine tune any bends using hot water. Only softens enough for minor adjustments without insert.

Don't use pen on the tube, where you are gonna bend it, it melts into the tube and won't come off. But you can use pen where you wanna cut it.

Depends what type of pen you use
