I really love this idea for a video and looking back at what your best books are each month I really like Well of Ascension and really want to re-read the mistborn trilogy before reading the second era books Surprisingly two of my favourites this year are both romance books and are XO by Melissa Jane and The Deal by Elle Kennedy

I have had a Robin Hobb year and have read nearly all of the Realm of the Elderlings books and loved every one. Will be so sad to finish them.

I felt the same about Well of Ascension! I feel like it went from a very action packed first book to mostly political 2nd book. its a very big change. My favorite book of the year so far has been Six of Crows! It ended with a storyline that is just my jam. I can't wait to read Crooked Kingdom!

I loved the "Brown sisters" series and Dani & Zafir were my favourite couple for 2020. Legendborn, Mrs Death Misses Death, Grown ups, Will my cat eat my eyeballs? & Blackout so far...

I don't think I could ever read an "in process" series where the books are released as slowly as Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere series. I would just go crazy.

I'd say you don't need to worry a lot about the Stormlight Archive being a ten book series, because the first five books complete an arc! So at least our main characters will get some kind of conclusion in about two and a half years :) I'm glad you enjoyed Oathbringer, it was definitely my least favorite of the first three (as a character-driven reader, I thought it was very lacking when it came to character moments), but it's SA so it's always a great journey nonetheless!

I'm about 10 volumes into the Fullmetal Alchemist series and loving it! I also loved Circe (Madeline Miller) and When No one is Watching (Alyssa Cole). Someday I'll have to give Sanderson and Hobb a try, but for now I'm being a coward and avoiding the King and Queen of long high fantasy series lol

I'm really curious how you like hero of ages because i love the Mistborn series but that one was the weakest imo (i didn't like it at all). I think you'll really like Mistborn Secret History though, but it has spoilers for the hero of ages so you should read that first for sure
