You can avoid loosing milk with the plastic bags breaking is to keep them in ziplok bags for sanitary reasons and then thaw in a zip lock in the warm cup of water. That way if there's holes the milk is saved in the zip lock

Love the kiinde twist bags! I used the entire system with my son and plan to with the new babe! I loved the fact that I could pump directly into them and not have to worry about transferring milk and risking contamination. Their bottle tops are amazing as well and specifically shaped for breast fed babies who need to be pacefed!

These junobie bags look awesome but I’m an overproducer and exclusively pump so I use the kiinde bags. I’ve found an easy way to eliminate the air before freezing too. Take the cap off and gently squeeze the bag until the milk is almost to the top of the bottle opening and then screw on the cap.

Love the kiinde twist bags! I fill them up to 6oz and then organize them in gallon sized bags so I can rotate easier when it comes time to do so. They do come in 8oz options too! Loved this video!!

I would freeze the milk in a regular plastic bag like Lansinoh then put the frozen bag in a zip top bag to thaw it in case there’s holes so you don’t lose milk

Thank you for making this video! I got some Junobie bags for free, registered for the zip top bags and had been really on the fence about going back to Kiinde bags. We used Kiinde for my first but I only nursed and pumped for 3 months. My son loved the bottles from the system. I just took zip top off my registry and added another set of Junobie bags! I just wish there was a reusable option for kiinde because I loved the bottle 😂

We thawed our Lansinoh bags in the fridge and didn’t have any leaking issues. I would be worried about the amount of space the twist off bags take up. I have a LOT of excess milk to freeze and space is a premium.

I really want to try the junobie bags so badly!! Right now I use Medela brand bags and I like them I can get the air out,freeze flat,thaw without fear, I've never had a leak( thank goodness!!) But it's so much plastic that's getting thrown away. I really want to look into getting at least some reusables. I'm so glad you posted this! Thank you!! Xo

Have you ever tried the Haakaa silicone storage bags? I’m trying to decide between those or the Junobie. I can’t find a comparison video anywhere ☹️

I use the haakaa bags, but I saw a video about taking the milk blocks out of the Junobie bags and storing them in a gallon bag to reuse the bags, which I don't think you can do with the haakaa bags. So I might switch. There's also a Playtex silicone system where you can pump directly into the reusable bags and also screw a nipple onto them, which is way cool! They're only 6oz though.

Caution on Junobie, I ordered a Junobie starter kit a month ago and they're still not even shipped. I did a preorder on 9/15 that said it would be out 9/30/21. I wanted these for the work/childcare transition. We are mid October still not shipped. I also left two reviews for other moms on their site warning about this because I ordered ahead and relied on their estimated shipping dates which are inaccurate. They never posted them even though I am a verified buyer! I ended up need to buy the disposable bags anyhow. I have only frozen which has been very easy.

FIY. That’s not how the Lansinoh bags are meant to be poured out. You’re supposed to turn it and use the little flaps curved up kinda like a little canal. If that made sense lol

I am almost exclusively pumping for my newborn. I received some Kiinde bags as a gift & like them, but feel like it is wasteful & pricey to purchase. My LO also hates the Kiinde bottle. I honestly hated Lansinoh bags! The only pro for me was they froze really flat. When it comes to thawing frozen I do not recommend. The bottoms would break causing me to loose so much milk! My favorite bags hands down were the Kiinde Twist bags.
