The Kiinde feeding system is amazing and so ingenuous! I dismissed the system early on in our pumping journey and I just want to kick myself lol! The only thing I was is my pump parts, one pump bottle, one measuring bottle and a nipple or two. Ah-maz-ing!

I honestly put them in the back of my mind right away as this is my second baby I just wanted to go with the same thing we did with our first. My husband surprisingly said I should give them another chance because he watched reviews on them I'm so glad I gave them another try because this past week the system has worked amazingly for us! I wish I knew about them with my first!

Great video! I have been using the Target up&up brand for 3 months and *knock on wood* never had an issue. Did you find they leaked more when you thawed them? I’ll probably switch now though... I can’t chance leaky bags.

Thank you! And yes, I found it was pretty bad no matter the method I tried to thaw): You may be able to find the old ones that have the black arrows on the box. The new ones have blue arrows

Did target do another redesign? I went from using lansinoh to Up&Up and I LOVE them. I’ve never had a leaking issue and I’ve only heard good things of the brand!

If you mean another redesign since this video, I’m not sure because I’m weaned now. But the Target bags in this video were redesigned from their original ones. I just didn’t care for the redesign much! But I’m glad they worked for you!

How did you like the old design for the babies r us bags? I have some from my last breastfeeding journey that I hadn't used but I'm hesitant.

The older design leaked pretty regularly if I remember correctly but I did like that design more than the new one. All they needed to do was put a side seal around the old design. The new one felt stiff and difficult to work with when freezing but they also did leak like the old ones. I would say use them just make sure you have it inside another bag when thawing to prevent losing milk!

How do you get all the air out of the bags? I have such a hard time with air bubbles!!! Can you do a video? I saw like no air in your bags!!!

I'll do a video once my daughter arrives in August since I'm currently weaned! But I would press the bag against my chest with almost the whole seal sealed, bring the milk to the seal and then finish sealing. It's actually better to have an air bubble or two since the milk will expand in the freezer once frozen!

Your reviews are great, and the time stamps on this one are amazingly helpful! Have you tried to pump directly into the new Lansinoh bags using the Motif Duo pump? Seems like that would work since it has a wide neck connector. Thanks!!

Yes the tommee tippee bags are accurate. I would pump from medela pump to medela bottle, measure the amount I needed then pour milk into tommee tippee bag and it was spot on. I also pour milk from tommee tippee bag to comotomo bottle and it is also accurate. I now use the whole pump and go tommee tipee system. Hope this helps!

The funny thing on the Ardo bags turns blue when you warm the milk. It's like a temperature indicator. Don't like them but that's what it is :-)

How many bags can you fit in a gallon bag on average? I've been using Kiinde pouches (I don't use the whole system but I'm a NICU nurse and I've seen how leaky a lot of bags are) and can fit 8-9 6oz pouches in a gallon bag, just wanted to know how classic style bags compare as I'm running out of freezer space!

I both weighed and used 2 different measuring cups when testing the samples for accuracy. In my experience between bottles and storage bags hardly any of them are correct. And they all pretty much vary between each other. Best result is measuring in your feeding bottles then pouring into the bags so you know you’ll have what your baby needs!

I love the Kiinde bags! I just like pouring it into the stable opening. I can tap my bottle into the bag to get every last drop. Some insurance covered bags!! Kiinde bags are covered by my insurance!
