Yes. The more feature rich browsers like Supermium are not necessarily fast on older hardware so Opera still has the speed advantage. It can fail to load some websites instantaneously

So how my old IBM ThinkPad T41/Windows XP/1 GB RAM, could browse and watch videos normally in KZbin through Chrome, but now I can't? I installed Supermium but it loads slower than Chrome.

Web standards changed. For example, Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.3 is preferred over earlier versions that Windows XP browsers are able to support

Firefox ESR for Win 7 without a doubt, I couldn't uninstall Opera fast enough, way too slow.

You make a good point. Opera is more suited for Windows 98
