i've gotten an oxo burr grinder, distilled water and coffee mineral packets, a V60 setup, and temperature control is the last thing i need. Man im excited

Okay! I bought the Miroco. Going to use it to brew teas. I wanted to get a Fellow EKG bit just couldn't swing the expense. A lot of my friends love the Cosori so that was my next choice until I watched your unboxings in your 4 budget kettle series. Recently discovered your channel and very much appreciate your videos. Thank you!

Thank you so much for the kind words, really glad that the videos helped a little.

@@XICups I'm using this kettle every day and like it very much. Glad I got it. My only complaint is that the Max/Min lines inside the kettle could be bolder for old eyes. :)

Funnily enough I've been using the Miroco for almost a year now before watching this vid. Glad to see it won this budget comparison :) Haven't tried any other kettles but the Miroco is awesome, can confirm.

I have the Miroco for the past 3 weeks. Loved it until I started to smell burning plastic and noticed the outside of the base of the kettle started melting. I’ll have to send it back unfortunately.

Had a feeling you would go with the Miroco. 😉😎. I bought the stovetop version of the Fellow EKG and I’m happy with it, but would get the Miroco if I had to do it again after seeing this video. 😎
@XICups3 жыл бұрын
Haha, yeah the only thing like I said I am uneasy about is the lack of a "stable" seller. But the seller offering has gone from the 1 that I bought from initially to 3 now. Aside from that the kettle really impressed me with how similar it is to use from the EKG.
@ronr94233 жыл бұрын
@@XICups That’s exactly what I saw, was how similar the Miroco is to the EKG, I would have been very surprised if you went in a different direction. 😎
@XICups3 жыл бұрын
Totally missed your reply, do apologize about the late response here. But yes, as an EKG user this one stood out, again the only thing being the lack of a stable brand seller, I didn't feel comfortable recommending it without emphasizing that going in.

Thank you. Please would you do a comparison of budget espresso machines. I am particularly interested in De'Longhi Coffee Machines, but any would be great.
@XICups3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion. I will definitely keep that in mind, though espresso machines are bit more of a daunting task, since you need to spend quite a bit of time with it to really form an opinion. But I would love to test out more coffee toys and share my opinion if the opportunity arise.

Thank you for your kettle reviews! Could you do more grinder reviews too? I'm looking for a affordable grinder for espresso machine 😃
@ronr94233 жыл бұрын
If you’re into hand grinders, a good budget option to start with for espresso would be 1ZPresso JX Pro, a worthwhile electric espresso grinder will start around $300 and go up SUPER QUICK. Pull up some reviews for the 1ZPresso JX Pro and you’ll find plenty of comparisons in the budget category. Good luck 😎
@XICups3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for answering that Ron, but yes most of the good options are at least $250, the only sub $200 one that I can think off that can potentially do espresso is the Breville Smart Grinder Pro, which I did talk about here kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGrWfIWdar6joaM This one that I talked about belongs to my friend and so far it's been holding up for her and the several times that I did grind for espresso with it came out pretty good. But on the note of doing more gear reviews I would be more than happy to do so!! Just need to save up a bit more budget =]

I just bought one off Amazon, Bonsenkitchen Kettle, it looks like a straight Stagg EKG knockoff. Recommend you to look at it. I'm waiting on it, hopefully it's decent.
@XICups2 жыл бұрын
Interesting, the design certainly looks similar to the EKG. Will keep in mind for future testings.
@vgamedude122 жыл бұрын
@@XICups I got it and to you and anyone else who reads I'm not too impressed. Knob was very cheap and the knob cover came off when I received it. Also the lid has holes in the top like the stagg, and after I boiled water I noticed that black finish had gotten into the inside rim of the top of the lid and when I wiped it with a paper towel black residue came off! Not a good look!

Thanks for this! I’ve had the Cosori for a while now and have been wondering whether the temperature was actually accurate. I may splurge and just go for the Fellow, but if not then I’ll look at the two you recommended as well!

Wow!!! This video came out right when I was shopping for an electric kettle. I’m trying to choose between the miroco and the Willscence. Which would you choose? I’m mostly just going to be using it for tea and whatever else (but possibly learn how to do pour over coffee since my boyfriend is a coffee fan) This video was so well done and I appreciate the effort and time you put into making it!
@XICups3 жыл бұрын
After using them both I would probably go with the MIroco, the base isn't as nicely built, but it looks sleeker and handles better in my opinion.

Have you tried the Balmuda kettle?
@user-lovinlife2 жыл бұрын
Cosori is a lovely pot. Mostly I just want quick hot water for my tea. I'm 67 and the fit is perfect for myself. I think it's a personnel choice. I'm just wondering how long the kettles last, and the price of replacement of the base and kettle. I bet it's best just to purchase a new one. Right? Thanks for the through review. Next time I may try one of the other choices!

So many reasons why this comparison is flawed. watch other reviews first before deciding. This was far too subjective and many of the conclusions were personal not factual.
