Good review and a good functioning camera. Just one drawback which led to me returning them. Once you install the app make an account and setup the device just ONE person can get real time alerts. People that have a camera shared to them can't get push notifications. You can login with the same account but only the last person to login and watch the live feed or view alerts receives push notifications after this.

Amazing video, it is very helpful especially for a first time mom who is very anxious 😂 please tell me how to get a notification on my phone but have the camera be quiet in the baby’s room.. every time the motion alert goes off and sends me a notification, at the same time the camera makes an alarm noise and wakes up the baby 😤😤😤

you can disable the alarm noise in the menu somewhere i recall, i actually gave mine away to an elderly relative so don't have the device on hand to see where it is in the menu sorry

Mines behind a window looking outside and it's difficult to see anything as it reflects the little red lights of the camera off the window which looks like a bright bulb meaning I can't see anything outside...looking for a fix?

not much you can do with that apart from maybe some type of matt film on the windows to stop the reflection maybe

Once setup an account and all working can you sit it in a place with no WIFI and it still record? Obviously we're aware you then won't be able to control it, but the question is, does it still record without WIFI or does it stupidly need a network connection to also record?

If you set it to continously record to the micro sd you can leave it anywhere with or without wifi and it will just record what it see's.

You reviewed every thing except the most important thing the picture quality you never questions the 1080p quality. I bought one after your review and you never said how dark and grainy the image was. I had to send it back. Good review but if you just reviewing like a lot of reviewers are to promote your link I think it's unfair for people looking for a camera.

i didn't find the camera to be dark and grainy? unless you mean the light vision which is the same on pretty much every camera of this style and is also very much down to bandwidth on the internet connection. Sorry if you feel you were mislead.

Maybe? I am not familiar with Xeoma, but as long as it uses the usual standards i don't see why not. The software that Apeman recommnend is a typically generic type of deal and doesn't seem to use any non standard coding from what i can tell. Sorry i can't give you a definitive answer.

You will need to temporarily disable your 5ghz network on you broadband router to complete setup

did you disable 5ghz before you started the setup on your phone? and is the 5ghz and 2.4 have the same wifi or ssid name?

I have just uninstalled the app and tried again. Disabled 5ghz then changed ssid on 2.4 but still doesn't work, pulling my hair out now, probably have to return the camera
