Kali Audio LP6 is phenomenal, they have such a flat, neutral sound to them that mixing my tracks are way more accurate then it used to be. No built-in EQ means your tracks tell you the truth of what you’re lacking and what you need to add.

I Use Yamaha HS8 and Alesis Elevate 5 both have different character ,but those are not false like those 3 - PreSonus Eris E4.5 , PreSonus Eris E3.5 and Mackie Studio Monitor. Don't waste you hardend money on those 3 . Go for Yamaha , Adam , kali , alesis or KRK . And you need extra sub woofer for making pop music .Cheap does not mean good.

@@subhadeepdas3944 the Presonus Eris E3.5 are extremely well reviewed for a reason m8. Yes, of course there are better monitors on the market. But not ANYWHERE near that price bracket. You seem to miss the fact that this is about price-performance ratio, and in this, they simply blow everything else completely out of the water. For what they deliver they should cost twice as much, but they don't, and THAT is the point. They're a great choice for a small home studio.

I actually spend alot of time listening to these recommend studio monitors from the 4" - 8" versions and all have a certain degree of nose pinching sounding to the vocals which i believe is caused by the digital crossover attenuation. Noticed somewhat missing upper highs between the bass driver & tweeter freq despite the freq curves showing flat response. I finally ended up buying Samson Resolv SE6 at USD300/pair for my daughter's studio room of about 150sqft. My audiophile system consists of B&W Nautilus speakers and hand made tube pre-amps & amps. I'm used to the imaging, sounstage depth and bass driver's speed. Thus it was important for me to have a studio monitor that demonstrate these characteristics. Was about to consider the BBC studio monitor series before i discovered the Samson with very acceptable sounding for that price point.

none of them there all far too small. If you are looking for good bass you need to be looking at 8" plus or a sub. I choose the Adams T7Vs cos they do go low but if you were to crank up the bass to vibration levels you mix would be miles out. Studio Monitors are supposed to be flat, they are not Hi-Fi/Car Audio.

dull lifeless boring, no heavy bass no screeching highs everything is in moderation. They should be crystal clear and superb stereo imaging. IF they sound Hi-Fi then there not studio. Remember you are supposed to sit no more than 3ft 1mtr away from them, that is what differentiates them from normal speaker cabs. They also make GREAT computer speakers !!

You don't strictly need one, as the Eris series offers unbalanced line input whch can be connected to e.g. your computer's audio output. But since onboard-audio is often of rather poor quality , a separeate audio interface is usually a good idea (and if you want to use professional audio equipment you will need one anyways to connect it to your computer). The Eris series also have balanced audio inputs to connect to an audio interface or other professional equipment.

Recently spent time doing demo's with the jbl lsr series, the Mackie hr series, the Yamaha hs series and Adam t series. Walked out with a pair of Adam t7v's. mackies were muddy with a scooped sound, jbl I found to smear lower mids, and Yamaha we're harsh in the highs and too forgiving in the mids. The Adams were the only ones that highlighted the flaws in my mix that I knew were there already. The others sort of smoothed the warts over. For me that was an eye opener, because I had gone in with intentions of buying the HS8.

No M-Audio BX5D3's. They're what I'm getting after watching all the "Comparison" videos, "Bx5D3 Vs..." Considering their price & sound, they are the hands-down winner IMO. I just wish there were more comparison videos featuring Extreme Metal mixes, as THAT would make it easier to choose considering that is my niche. 🤔

m-audio's are fantastic! i upgraded to the m-audio BX8 Carbon's not too long ago and WOW...halfway turned up my neighbors think i am throwing a dance party. But the part that gets me is how CLEAN they stay at whatever sound level i have them on. ALWAYS clear, ALWAYS clean, ALWAYS true to the original sound when working out of my DAW. I also use m-audio for several of my pieces of hardware gear, (m-audio trigger finger pro, m-audio axiom 85). Just a good company that makes great products and sometimes it feels they go a little under the radar.

They're all inexpensive, but the PreSonus are super-affordable. If you're considering the Mackie, you might as well look at the Adam T5V, which are only $40/pair more expensive. Otherwise, skip the Mackie and go with one of the other monitors on the list.

How sad that technology is sometimes quite expensive, don't you think the M-Audio AV42 is better? Well, everyone with their tastes, but I like this one and it's cheaper

My home audio system is a JBL and I wouldn't trade it for anything. But for strictly monitors these little Presonus 3.5's are killer. They have a very flat but very pure, crisp sound to them at any frequency.

I do edm music what do you think would be the best, presonus 3.5 or the jbl?
@Fister_of_Muppets
@Fister_of_Muppets 4 жыл бұрын
@@tonygiannattasio9137 Either would be good as monitors when putting together a flat mix. The Presonus have a tight, punchy bass response, but the JBL's would probably have a bit better low-end response post-production.
