Hi I want to share my experience with K&F with you. I purchased K&F’s TC2335 in September last year for my vlogging camera. Whilst I was away on a photography trip in December, two of the tripod feet fell off. The feet are a push on design. I contacted K&F and they told me that they don’t have spares. I asked them to replace it under warranty and they ignored me. I have contacted them a number of times and they don’t return my emails. K&F take exception to the warranties that they will honour. I would not buy from them again. Great video by the way.

I want to start off by saying how wonderful it is to have such an honest and down-to-earth review on a product. I'm just a regular guy that loves photography and has hobby money to spend on it. You picked a real product one that all people can possibly afford and I appreciate it. It's not very realistic to watch a review on a accessory that cost more than my camera. So thank you very much

The thing I love about your Equipment on a budget is that Not only do you recommend items that are inexpensive and good for beginners but items that are also really good quality and just happened to have Alott of bang for your buck. Most budget videos they’re just showing you what’s the cheapest but most of those products have no quality to them and can sometimes make things even harder when it comes photography. With Sean he recommends budget equipment that is always super high-quality price being considered. Definitely a wealth of knowledge when it comes to video and photography and I’ve noticed I have made several great well-informed purchase decisions based on his recommendations and never regretted it once. Thanks Sean 🙏. Keep up the good work.

Outstanding video! As someone who is 6' 2" It is nice to find a taller tripod that won't break the bank! Most tripods of this caliber usually run well over $100.00. Great job! Learning tons from your videos! feature I like is quick release locks on the legs and ability to convert to a monopod.

This tripod is not much use for 6ft plus people . I very rarely use the centre section because they are not very steady .

If folks are looking for a slightly smaller alternative that fits in a backpack (59.5" fully extended) the MeFoto Backpacker Air tripod is at the same price range and weight class (2lb), but also doubles as a detachable selfie stick with a bluetooth button to use with your smartphone. I also use this tripod with my mirrorless cameras and small action cams.

I bought this tripod based on the recommendation in this video - I can happily say it was exceeded my expectations. I, too, am a taller guy (6'3") so the extra height was a plus. It's much more sturdy than tripods priced in this range. Thanks @ThinkMedia for the solid review.

Dude I just got mine and I have to say I am really loving the build quality. Thanks a lot for the tip! Also, just wanted to mention that K&F actually sell their gear from their own site and I actually manage to get it for like 67 usd including shipment, which is crazy since on amazon and other sites it would cost like 120-140 usd (they ship free internationally) .

I have not had rubber feet fall off any of the tripods I have, but that is definitely one of the things I am aware of, because I have had rubber feet fall off various other types of stands including light stands and mic stands. This is a really great video review, because the hardest thing about buying a tripod online is trying to determine the build quality and how it will stand up to use.

That's the type of tripod landscape/nature photographers use. I used to have a similar one, loved it. Don't know where it went. I never came across one while "window shopping" since. Question of the day: Unfortunately I have a cheap video tripod. Like I said I want one like you have there but never came across one in the stores I visited. If you go out on rough terrain you'll love that tripod even more!

I have a DIY monopod built out of PVC pipe that is held up with a Christmas tree stand. It has three telescoping 24 inch sections. It allows me to position the camera right behind my computer monitor where a web cam would be placed. Just a quick thought, if you get a Christmas tree stand and put a PVC pipe in it, you put your tripod in monopod mode and insert them into the PVC pipe. An 18" pipe would fit right into the tripod bag. Just keep in mind that stability is due to the circumference of the base so make sure to get an appropriately sized tree stand. And for portable purposes, look for one of those metal tree stands that can be disassembled.

Thank-you, Sean! Great video and very helpful! I appreciate your upbeat and informative energy! Superb presentation! One of the best I've seen! Just today I picked up the K&F Tripod from B&H Photo: the K&F Concept SA254M2 w/ Monopod and Ballhead Kit for $74.99. I was looking at Neewer, which also had a good deal. But the online gentleman from B&H pointed out the load capacity of this being 22 lbs, as well as the height of 68 inches. I'm really stoked to receive this, but especially now after your terrific video. K&F sounds like a great company for those of us not requiring a Manfrotto or Oben or Peak Design Tripod. Maybe one day, but I really like the well-built and affordable products like these! Thanks for reading! And thanks again for getting me excited about my new purchase :)!! All My Best! Thank you for this. I'm new to photography and have a relatively old Miranda Titan TP20 which although I love, is too bulky for my bag and is still nearly 24" when folded meaning I feel like a walkie talkie as it sticks up so high. I have been looking at K&F tripods and can get this one new for just £56/$75. In particular I love the inverted capability as well as the size!

after some research last month I bought the same tripod. Good to see it featured! Quick set-up with clips, D-ring, normal+overhead mode, not too heavy and ability to hang on extra weight make it good value for a photo enthusiast like me. I assumed a monopod feature like the TM2534 or TM2515 or second ballhead like the TM2534T wouldn't be necessary. I'm curious how the connections hold up over time.

Great review! I’m traveling soon and need a tripod when I came across your review of this tripod I saw on Amazon. Love the tripod and was almost gonna pull the trigger to buy one, then I noticed the lock collars. It is a budget tripod, I understand, but those locks WILL crack and fail, just a matter of time. Great review nonetheless! Thumbs up!

do you think this tripod would hold a 32" manual slider without shaking too much? or without loosing stability? i assume you could spread the legs if it got too heavy but i just worry it'll shake too much to use. what do you think?

I've been using a similar tripod to this for a while, but in order to get halfway decent height I've had to raise the centre post all the way up and with a heavy camera, I get a lot of wobble. Even when you put your arm on top of it, I saw a lot of movement. One problem is the very thin legs that these tripods have. The head on yours is the same as on mine, and sometimes the weight of my camera overwhelmed it a little - I think I can solve that with an L-shaped bracket though. Mine has 4-section legs to your three. I'm looking for something a little more stable. K&O Concept makes some good stuff though.
