Filthyskillz 100% dude. But the ethos always is go low. Take them around the knees or lower and they go down every time, doesn’t matter how big they are. Go high, get bumped!

Jamie Anderson in rugby league if you tackle too low, the player will offload into space and it’s overlap time. Low tackles are better for union

They have to tackle like that cause players know how to pass when getting tackled. SO defenders will either go for the instant takedown (which is risky, since players can pass at open time) or they go for a conservative tackle and try to wrap the ball and await for a second defender to assist the tackle
