Love the video in Greg Inglis! A few little bits of information on GI you may find interesting! His "crawl" celebration is a Aboriginal expression of his totem animal the Goanna. He is from Dunghutti tribe (my tribe) and is a very proud, respected and admired Indigenous Australians! He was considered the fastest big man ever and also the one of the most agile players! He recently retired unfortunately for the fans though he leaves the NRL having been one of if not the best representative of the sport and indigenous heart

Straight up beast. A truly great man. A phenomenal and graceful athlete. Another relatively unknown fact about this great man is that he was an incredible swimmer as well. More money in rugby league though. One of those players that brings tears to your eyes when you watch his highlight reel. What a loss to our rugby league community. We will be poorer for his absence. I love you brother.

Greg Inglis plays rugby. There are two main forms of rugby. Rugby league and rugby union. You’re understanding of what the sport is called reflects the provincial use of the sport’s name in a small part of Australia. Here’s a clue... what sport do they play in the NHL? Hockey. NBL?, basketball.The old NSL? Soccer. The NRL?

@@coparugby7177 it's actually "all" of Australia, we know it's not rugby and as the number 1 team around the world i think we know what we're talking about. if you can't make one part of your argument hold true how is the rest going to substantiate I get where you're coming from but it's not the same, we live and breathe it here and so you will never hear any of our marquee players ever say they play rugby in the nrl
@coparugby7177
@coparugby7177 5 жыл бұрын
Emerson Arguijo James graham, josh Hodgson, Sam Burgess have all said they play rugby in the NRL. They are all star nrl players. In Papua New Guinea, the only place on earth with rugby league as the national sport, people frequently call rugby league just rugby. It’s similar for other parts of the world too. The NSW and QLD habit of calling It league, denying it can be called rugby etc is a small provincial use of the terms that doesn’t really apply elsewhere (perhaps in NZ). Rugby league can be called just rugby. Greg Inglis doesn’t play in the National League League or the National Rugby League League.... he plays in the National RUGBY league (like National BASKETBALL league, National HOCKEY league)

@@coparugby7177 Copa Rugby not saying they ever did, but it's ironic how all 3 of the one's you mentioned are english players who've come to the NRL. Union and the epl reign king in the uk apart from the north of england which do enjoy there rugby league as well, so I could understand the confusion I don't think you understand what I'm saying though, I've said rugby league in my first comment previously, without union there wouldn't be league. Rugby league is a branch from rugby union but to compare it to hockey and basketball isn't really the same now is it.. how many variations of basketball is there that you can you play on an amateur or professional level, heck for any other sport? Mostly there's just the one, league is the only sport really, i can only think of hockey but even they play in a different code.. why not the same they're both hockey? You sound intelligent enough to see through my sarcastic bs and answer that yourself. Unless you have lived under a rock and never heard of hockey you'd realise both field and ice hockey "need" that important difference in their name to be transparent and separated from one another for many many obvious reasons like growth/ popularity and stadium attendance
