Good review thanks, i bought this gun a few weeks back and shot around 150 rounds, used Glock 19, Glock 17 and the 33 round magazines, they all worked fine, very accurate and not snappy, i like the looks as well, to be honest liked it more then my Glock 19 :)

I've had mine for a couple months now. About 600 rounds through it now with ZERO issues running G17 mags. Right out of the box and no oil or cleaning, its ran everything I've put through it. I've got a boatload of guns and different brands. This one so far is as reliable as any of my "expensive' guns. I think this makes a great "first gun" or even a "50th gun" for anyone regardless of budget. The price tag doesn't make the gun The gun makes the gun. Does it work and is it reliable. Don't care who makes it either. As long as it meets those two requirements, I'll take it. Kinda reminds me of Canik a bit. First Canik TP9SF I bought years ago was 270 out the door and its a rock solid gun to this day.I expect this one will be the same.... I hope :)

Nice review, thanks! I have one and I have ran it with G19 mags. They are slightly recessed in the mag well but they do work. Saying that, I prefer using G17 mags. I’m happy with my purchase and I would recommend the DY9 to anyone interested in a Glock clone.

Well as a Turk I must say in Turkey gun license laws are strict and even if you ae eligible to get it licenses are 3-4 times expensive than the price of this gun. So majority of Turkish people may see Canik Derya Sarsilmaz guns in youtube reviews of Americans )))

@fullyloadedreviews But I had the same problem as you did with the magazines. It's the shape of the baseplate on the Glock mag. My KCI magazines seat properly. I can't take the mag well off because I don't have the right size screwdriver. So, if I want to use Glock mags, they'll have to be G17 mags.

@ yeah it sucks but G17 mags don’t sit out much further than the 19 mags. But it is not ideal because I would to prefer G19 mags.

I was bored, had money, had “the itch” and it was only $250 at dunhams(mine has an optics cut)…so i bought it. I put 50 rnds through it and thought I was tripping because it was so flat shooting. Guess it wasnt a fluke. Its deer season so I cant shoot in my woods like Id like so Ill have to make it to an indoor range to play w/ it some more. I see alot of scattered reviews online of this gun but no one really putting it through its paces. Very interested in a 500 to 1,000 rnd review. Nice vid.

The mag well is easily removed and fits stock Glock 19 mags, Magpul G19 mags fit in the magwell.

I’ve put about 400 rounds through mine. Super comfy in the hand, shoots slightly snappier than a G19 to me. Hate that front sight with a passion, will not take Glock sights so you’re stuck with it. Works with PMags great, and has fired every ammo brand I’ve put through it no issues. Also, a G19 or PSA Dagger slide WILL work on it.

You could try taking the magwell off and see if it takes the G19 magazines no problem. That's what I did with my GForce Exodus. I have small hands so not having the magwell does not cause me any problems.

That was our conclusion as well. We test things how they come from the factory (for the most part putting on optics and backstraps are the exception). We may try removing the mag well later.

That’s a really tough question. I have only had hands on a dagger once and if I remember correctly I liked it. That being said said I think you get more gun out this. We have a review of the micro dagger coming. But I just don’t have enough hands on with the dagger to say. But this is really good and if you can get the optics cut version for cheap I would say this.

I have one I just got 2 weeks ago... like the style and price.... their customer service is crickets on the other end of the phone... tring to get a contured baseplate for it... it shows one in the manual part number 46 but they have no clue ... anyways you have to be your own customer service department.. my question is are glock 17 magazines better? I live in New York so Im stuck with 10 round....

@@E087542: thanks. Yeah, I did some research and found a video that shows it can be also disassembled from the frame to use G19 type magazines with larger basepads. It has a steel insert for the screw. Without the magazine well the grip lenght is more or less like that of a G19.

At the price it is better than a G19 any day. Get your mag of choice and get busy. I use G17 mags in mine and love it. Everything is better than Glock (Trigger, sights, ergonomics). Or you could buy a Glock and spend another $500 on stuff to compare.
