FYI ppl...let's say u pay extra for a 3 year warranty and you have to use that warranty in 6 months. once you use that warranty it's gone.

in 2006 we bought a 22" Samsung PC monitor and bought the 4yr warranty. about 3.9 yrs later yrs it was having a problem where the screen was all pink. it was still under warranty took it to bestbuy & had to wait about a month. got it back and still had the same problem and the warranty was expired & we didn't feel like taking it back in so i sold it on craigslist for $50 and the guy that fixed it said it was bad capacitors. bestbuy said it was some dust on a connector i bet they didn't even look at it.

You were lucky. The Samsung phone warranties are useless. I bought a Geek Squad warranty for my new Samsung phone and it quit working 2 weeks later. I took it in and was told they no longer work on Samsung phones but would mail it to Samsung IF I paid them $90 in advance to do that. I asked for a refund on the useless warranty plan but they refused.

my friend bought a sony 75" tv with warranty. tv got a line in the middle a few yrs later he was able to get an updated model & bigger tv 85" and even got some money back for the price difference because the new tv was cheaper. i think bestbuy even installed the new one for him.

I had the same thing happen to me. My tv quit on me just a week ago and I checked my receipt and I had a 4-year warranty. They just took my tv today to repair it. I had to wait a whole week to get someone to take the tv and now they are saying it will take 1 to 2 weeks for it to be fixed. I won't have a tv for almost a month. I am glad I bought a warranty but this is taking way to long to be fixed.

they came the next day but had to order the parts and come back a week later, but it was free, hope it all works out for you ! :)

i buy everything from Best buy with the protection plan, totally worth it. In Canada, for me they do not even exchange the item, they just give me a gift card, its awesome. I have had Cameras, computer components, tvs and multiple phones replaced with Best buy. Just had a $200 keyboard replaced, bought another one and got the warranty, guaranteed i will break it within 3 years 😉 right when i am ready to upgrade. No questions asked, straight up exchange for a gift card

@@VictoriaG02 Well chances are you're not going to have an issue with your gaming console. Although xbox did have the red ring of fire problem . Say you bought a 3 year warrenty and "breaks" 35 months in. You can get your money back. By this time the new console will be coming out..... A rare Earth magnet should do the trick

About to test it out. Bought a Logitech G502 mouse and a headset although gift card is worthless for me. I hope they have replacement for the mouse or logitechs newest mouse.
