Yes I folded it open and felt it's sturdiness, plenty sturdy for the piggies though and you could probably carefully lay down on top of it but I wouldn't have a dance party up there

For my 7x3 cage setup I bought a "Twin XL" bedframe from amazon for $50. It was a tall one so it has an 18 inch clearance underneath the bedframe. So I bought some bed risers and it added an extra 8 inches to make it just a bit taller for me. And underneath it perfectly fits 4 big Sterilite bins. 2 bins for clean laundry, 1 for dirty laundry, and 1 for their hay and food. (I even have more room underneath in the very back to store my Christmas trees and christmas decoration bin during the year) It works so well for me and I could even potentially expand the cage to 8x3 grids (my grids are 12 inches wide, so its 3ftx7ft) The weight limit is 2000 pounds on the bedframe since its made of steel. Very durable and if/when Im done having guinea pigs I can repurpose it as an actual bedframe

Hey Scotty! I've been eyeing out your eat, sleep, poop shirt for ages and just placed an order for one. Also ordered one of your colouring in books (I'm a big kid, yes)! Super excited! 😄

This is so weird, I’ve just been browsing to find a table solution, got bored, put on you tube, and there’s your post!thanks Scotty!

It's not weird, it's called synchronicity, and it means that both of us are on the right path ❤

Your videos are always so timely! I had my boys in a 2x5 on an ikea kallax but the balance was off and I wanted more space. So now I have a piece of sturdy plywood strapped on top to make a 3x6. Ruins the display effect of the unit, but anything for the pigs! The extra space has been amazing for their personalities. I'm considering finding a second kallax secondhand for even more support. My biggest tip: bigger is always better whenever you can!!

My piggies have been on one of those tables for a few years now. It's a great height, easy for picking them up.

Awhile ago, I bought a table at Walmart works great! 👍 I recommend it! I had it for 3 yrs. now.

We used these tables for our events at my job and they’re awesome. Nice and lightweight and strong enough to hold any C&C cage you put on them. I’d definitely recommend not trying to stand on them though. I don’t think they’re sturdy enough. Definitely great for the cages though! 😊

My hack for my C&C cage is 1x10 boards that sit on boards the other way on top of a desk. But with the boards, it gives a stable platform for the cage and can work on a lot of tables to increase the surface area vs just putting the cage on the table itself.

I have 2 of these for my herd. They’re side by side & just fit their 4x5 enclosure (14 inch grids & connectors.

I have a couple of those exact tables and they work great for a 2x5 on top and then you can put a 2x4 under. $35 is a great price on those, I paid about $55 for mine!

I find that if you have the c&c cage built with Connectors it's really tight to put a 2x5 on a 6 ft folding table, it actually an inch ish short. Without the Connectors it fits fine. I use 6 ft tables for 2x4 with Connectors, at my house, or a 2x5 with no Connectors
@skcjanelle906122 күн бұрын
Similarly, 8 foot tables are great for a 2x6 with connectors.

I never use the connectors because they make the cages unstable and impossible to move. I use zip ties and even pre-cut cages still work with zip ties in fact I zip tie everything together. Check out some of the videos in my cage setup playlist

Very nice recommendation! We had Ikea tables for piggie cages in the past and they fit quite well. A lighter weight option is a good shout!

Where do you go to get the stuff to build your cages with I live in Arkansas and I cannot find nothing like that
@ScottysAnimals22 күн бұрын
You don't have home depot? Corrugated plastic sheets should be found at any home Depot however if you check the cage setup section of my care guide I talked to step by step about how to build it. If you search C&C cage you can find ready-made cages everywhere online, Amazon even has pre-cut and folded corrugated plastic sheets. And you can get boxes of grids as well.
