Oh my gosh! I use a container---actually two and use my bathtub and makes it so much more comfortable for my girls when I have needed to give them a bath. Everything is there and ready and the container, is just a bit bigger than what you use, but also from the dollar store. Safe too!

When my guinea pigs were around I would fill up the sink but not all the way with a towel in it to give them a grip and gently and I mean gently rub them. Heck sometimes my guinea pigs will enjoy it And sometimes I'll say it's okay. It's okay. You're safe and My guinea pig will look at me like I'm crazy

Remember everything in moderation. Too much vitamin c can interfere with the absorption of other minerals and lead to kidney or bladder stones.

Yes absolutely. The exotic Animal Vet Center in Pasadena recommends between 25 and 50 mg of vitamin C per day per guinea pig

We had a boy guinea pig and named him Cedric Piggory. Love that you named him after a Harry Potter character. My daughter Ashley is a huge Harry Potter fan!

I have a worldwide rescue list. Guinea pigs from Pet shops often have respiratory illnesses that go unnoticed. Rescues work very hard to save animals.

I used to put a blanket in the tub and bath them there. I now use the kitchen sink with a small container. The key, control their front legs.

I am embarrassed to admit it but i had once made the same mistake. Except for my piggy was so slippery when wet she squirmed out of my hand and did fall from height. Thank god she was alright other than one broken tooth and injured lips, but its nothing to mess around with. I have since switched to using a basket in the bathtub. no reason to risk this guys, trust me bro

There are numerous cookies that aren't vitamin C based. I prefer the small pet select healthy Snackers. There is a link down in the description for 15% off for new customers. Bang for the buck nothing compares to child Life liquid vitamin C.
