Welcome to our first Alaskan adventure! In this series, we are traveling across the country to Seattle to board our very first Alaska Cruise that ports Ketchikan, Icy Straight Point, Juneau, Victoria British Columbia, and sails through Endicott Arm with a visit to Dawes Glacier!
Today we want to show you our special cabin for this sailing to Alaska! This is a 3M Spacious Oceanview Cabin that sleeps 3-4 guests and is positioned on the corner of the very forward of the ship! Because of this room location, we think it makes it perfect for whale watching for Alaska sailings!

We loved that room when we had it on anthem maybe we got lucky cuz it was only the two of us but you were able to book it for us and it was great. The only complaint I had was our window was dirty it was not as clean as yours.

Hi Dawn! ❤️ Ya to be honest I have no idea how we were able to book you that room with only two because it's labeled for 3-4 but so glad you two were able to experience it! Oh I see, I'm sorry it wasn't clean. Ours was fine to see out of but when we would try to film whales from the window the camera kept picking up on the salt or smudges on the window instead of the whales lol Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢

Thank you for the video- we have 9510 (same layout) booked for this summer in Alaska. We are a family of 4 and a single balcony room is starting to get tight so we made this tradeoff of (much more) space for the balcony. Did you regret not having the balcony? The window seems pretty large and the dedicated sitting area seems like it will still allow us to enjoy Alaska's beauty, without being totally cramped as we'd be in a smaller room.

Hi Brian! This cabin was great for 4 people! Much more spacious! We didn't really regret not having a balcony but at times when we saw wildlife out of the window it was difficult to get a good picture or video because the camera had difficult focusing through the window. How did you find this area of the ship for movement? Did you get seasick?

Hi Amber! We don't have a tendency of getting sea sick so we were fine. There was moment onboard in general but I would say we did get a little extra movement being in the front. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
