Great review. I got the original HS720 based on your review and I found it as impressive as you did. A note on the Bugs 20 EIS drone...it can be had on Amazon under the DEERC brand as the D15. DEERC is associated with Holy Stone. Very impressive drone also!!

Recently purchased a Holy Stone 720E. Loved everything about operating this drone. It just suited me and performed well. The problem I encountered was not being able to save pictures and videos to the SD micro card. I made 3 separate purchases for cards following their recommendations, but they did not work. I felt the unit was defective and requested a replacement. They suggested trying a fourth card. I said no, and returned it to Amazon. Otherwise I really liked the 720E...This was a great comparison video, and hope to chose another one from this list...It was well done. Thanks

Thanks man! I've only got 1 GPS drone so far, the hs165.. Now you have me so torn! That EX4Pro range is insane, but now if i ever end up with one, I wont be mad at myself for messing up compass calibration if it flies off in the wrong direction into a power line ha.. The hs165 I has to be calibrated when you first got it and it gave me some issues. (learning the hard/fun way) It's my 2nd one of the exact same drone, first one ended its life the first time i discovered automatic go home on low battery! Thanks man, you really do have the best reviews.

Bought the SG906 Pro 2. Flew once and it flew nice. Had issues getting satellites, would come and go. Flew in optical mode to see if it was due to interference. Drone flew up and it took off into the woods at top speed. One flight, One fly away. Gonna stick with my higher quality stuff. Update: actually able to pick up wifi in woods and found drone hours later. Battery still had a little life. Props are shot and rear arm snapped mounting stud on lower housing. Gimbal works and motors started. Waiting for parts. Seems to be quite a tough sucker. Hope I can also get GPS to work.

The 720E has a revised body shell for the Amazon market to differentiate it from the Mjx 12 eis ( and Amazon mark up )get the same specifications, and even cheaper, the Bugs 20 eis has identical internals and transmitter if you don’t mind that the arms do not fold. Personally I regard arms that don’t fold a bonus as there is less to fail, that is a rigid body shell as opposed to folding hinge mechanism and associated latching. ( Only my opinion)

When you watch for sales, you can get the Hubsan Zino for under €299 and imo it's a much better quadcopter (with its 3 axis gimbal and much better range) than all mentioned quads in this video. At the moment (nov 13th) it's just €263 with THREE batteries (Banggood/CZ) or €272 with THREE batteries and bag (Banggood/ES).

A little bit too late Captain :). I bought my first drone 2 days ago and its a SG906 PRO (2Axis gimbal). It was dirt cheap so I wont cry if I crash it ;) But after that I opt for DJI Mini 2! Camera/video quality of those cheap chinese drones is just so unacceptable to me so I decided to go really cheap to learn to fly and upgrade to something more capable. Thanks.

One lesson i learned from these budget drone is that you have to always be in wide open area. I flew one in my back yard and only went up about 100 ft. The thing took off on me and still can't find it. Lost connection. Last viewable video useless. But at the park it was fun. I ordered a holystone and change my mind and went for the dji mini 2. So remember to fly wide open area only.

I just ordered the beast sg906 pro 2! AU$240 with 2 batteries and carry bag. I ummed and ahhed on weight and fordable, I really only want for photos, birds eye and outlook. I thought about the jjrc x9ps and the L109, but the beast ticked enough boxes and the price thanks to AUD vs USD hit a point where I was happy to bite the bullet and commit.

There is no such thing as a 5G drone? Were you thinking 5GHZ perhaps? That is a BIG DIFFERENCE over 5G. Let me explain. 5G means 5th Generation cell towers and to talk to those cell towers you need a cell phone with 5G. 5GHZ on the other hand is a spectrum in Wifi communication that a budget drone uses to talk to your phone and send a video signal. So if your phone has 5GHZ then it means it has 802.11ac WIFI protocol and that is what you need to talk to budget drones. Budgets drones are drones under $300 US.
