BEST Campsite in Yorkshire Dales?

So this weekend we are away for Bryan's birthday, We have always wanted to try this lovely site and boy is it a gem!!
We visit Craven Arms pub in nearby Appletreewick for an amazing meal, take a moderate walk up to Simon's Seat, and take in the outstanding local views.
Howgill Lodge is nestled amongst the breathtaking landscape of the Yorkshire Dales, and off the beaten track, and offers peace and serenity in the open countryside.
The site is terraced providing a great selection of gravel level pitches with EHU, and picnic bench. It's dog and in our case cat friendly. Check in 1pm and check out 12.00am for further information for the site including prices and walks visit:

Thanks Dawn for recommending this site. We’ve just had four days away and it’s a fabulous place. We did three walks on separate days and they were fabulous. Simon’s Seat is very steep 😮 but great views from the top. We’ll definitely be back too. Julie xx
