Hello Akki, I am following you since yesterday as I really need to apply for higher studies in Canada. What about the cities in British Columbia akki, why you didn't include any cities from that province on this list? Because in one of your video, you are suggesting that BC is the best province to live in as it is the least cool province.

Yes. Comparatively, BC has the best weather in Canada. However it is also a very expensive province to live. Most of its major cities like Vancouver and Victoria are expensive to rent/ buy real estate and living costs are high. On the flip side those cities have good universities and colleges and more job opportunities (at least Vancouver) as those are metropolitan cities. But because of the high cost of living those are not necessarily the best cities for new immigrants to first come to (in my opinion).

Atlantic provinces have an immigration pilot program going on which makes the PR process faster. But you will need to job offer from an employer from one of the Atlantic provinces or be a graduate of a qualifying college or university.

Vancouver is a city with a lot of job opportunities compared to other Canadian cities. Ontario is a province and Toronto in Ontario is equally good for job opportunities. But both cities are very expensive to live. There are other cities in Ontario that are comparatively cheaper to live but may not have as many job opportunities. Both BC and Ontario have provincial nominee programs for PR applicants.

Well, the older you are the harder it is to justify doing post graduate studies in Canada. But if you can justify your study gap based on employment, financial situation or family circumstances, it’s worth a try. Also, you would have to have all the documents of your study permit application on point.

Vancouver is a great metropolitan city with a lot of job opportunities. However it also one of the most expensive cities in the world (not just Canada). Rentals are expensive, food prices and gas prices are high and the real estate market is very expensive. In my opinion, unless you have a full time job offer lined up when you come to Canada, Vancouver is not the best option for new immigrants.
