Great video !! We need more vids like this on KZbin bc a lot of these detailers that leave reviews are in bed with a lot of companies and will defend and rave about certain products and defend them at all costs. It's hard to get honest reviews these days bc of that. This video was a breath of fresh air !! Thank you !!

I use Adams Mega Foam and Adams Car Shampoo (bucket use only) in my weekly wash. That said, the rinsing off does require more work. Hence, Adams has a tendency to reform. That is not the case with GSF or Reset...they rinse off with ease. I have zero issues with GSF or Reset when I use the recommended dilution ratio with my Boss Cannon to get great foam. Slickness is great. I use them every 3-4 wash to enjoy the different smells and what each has to offer in performance. Lastly, when it comes to PH natural shampoos one cannot go wrong with ANY of the product reviews...they all get the job done.

Solid vid! Reset - I've always enjoyed using this on coated cars. I do wonder if it has TOO much cleaning power. Seems to remove old waxes/sealants better than dedicated strip washes GSF - I love Koch Chemie, but this is a subpar soap. Strange how hard it was pushed on KZbin. It's very hard to trust KZbin channels that are also distributors Meguiar's Hyper Wash is the goat for me. Wish they'd make it a tad thinner, offer it in another scent, and give it slightly more premium bottling, but that hasn't prevented me from buying it

Thank you for saying this about GSF. I bought some last year after getting sucked into the hype. Did not enjoy it. Definitely felt like it was lacking in the foaming and more importantly in the slickness department. I thought I was losing my mind. The dilution ratios were also a big reason for my departure. I recently purchased Adam's Car Shampoo after lots of debating, but ended up choosing Adam's just because it was such a great economical value. This video definitely reassures my choice! I was previously using cheap Meguiar's Soft Wash gel, but noticed a big increase in slickness from the Adam's, and it also turns out that the "cheap" Meguiar's soap was actually more expensive per use because the dilution ratio required 50% more product. Turns out to be a big win all around with the Adam's Car Shampoo, I do wish it wasn't such a thick product though as it makes it much less mixable than the more liquid soaps like ADS or Gyeon Bathe

Hey Will, thank you for the good words I love reading them. I use quite a bit of Meguiars gold glass in my early days, it's good enough but the dilution isn't on par with the ones we tested, it's 1oz per 1 gallon of water. That would mean 4oz per wash, drives up the cost IMO. If you like meguiars check HyperWash in their pro-line I think it makes more sense 1:500 soap or 1:400 very good too.

I haven't used Adam's but from the comments below looks like it leaves surfactant residue behind and doesn't fully rinse clean. I have used Reset for years and is my go-to soap for hand washing on coated cars. It can be a bit hard on paint sealants though. I bought a liter of GSF to try it out and just like so many others found it wasn't that great and never reached for it. Not only is it not slick it doesn't clean well either. Give or take the cherry scent. I dumped the last bit of it that I had recently. KC makes a lot of good products otherwise though. Incredible Suds is a bit too think and doesn't want to fully mix in my foam canon even with using warm water. I will use it occasionally to foam on the car before rinsing it down. Meguiar's Hyper Wash is another staple. Cost per use is one of the best. Between my other soaps and rinseless washes I don't pull it out much.

Well done Frank, bonne comparaison.... I've got the same results as you. My favorite for years has been CarPro Reset by far for his slickness and scent. Mainly use to wash my coated car only. I'm using GSF as a pre wash shampoo only. Not bad, Make the job. Adam's car shampoo is my second best and more use car shampoo. I'm using it on sealant or wax protected cars & the daily driven Mini CooperS. I just bought DIY Incredible Suds and I like it very much specially in pre wash & the MTM foam cannon. Shave cream like foam! A bit more cleaning power for dirtier cars also. PH 8,5... Très bien!!!! Have you tried Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Slick & slide pure wash??? I did love it also!!! What a smell and very good slickness!!!! Lâche pas mon ami!!! Beau travail!! I'm still following you and I'm ordering my colour pen this week hi hi hi. Frank

Just curious, why Koch GSF (more a foam, especialy designated for preserving ceramic coating and other sealants, thus why it is called “gentle”), is compared to shampoos, rather than NMS (Nano Magic Shampoo) by the same manufacturer which is..a shampoo?.. Also not quite clear, why are you testing those on a clean car? To demonstrate what? Foaming and slickness don’t necessarily go hand in hand with cleaning power..
@Detailing_Dogma4 ай бұрын
Hey Alex, thanks tuning in, Nano magic is a wash & coat soap and GSF is a versatile foam or bucket wash, people in north america has widely accepted this a the everyday car wash soap just like the other ones in the test. The car was ''pre-wash'' off camera as mentioned in the video. They all clean good a well maintained vehicule, did you listen to the video lol? cheers man ✌️

Always love your review and probably only trust reviewer in youtube. Also this time Agree with Most of your review... Except Adams dilution ratio in foam gun... very bad as like GSF. there is no way you can get a thick foam with 60ml of ADAMS Car shampoo. personally tested so many time with ADAMS and at least 100ml or 120ml to get a good foam even 90ml is not enough... Never used ADAMS before until I saw this review and tested it. Cleaning power is very good as you said so but chemical is too thick and have to use a lot in foam gun to get a thick foam. Very Good Shampoo for using in bucket. I bought it 29.99 USD for 1GAL
@Detailing_DogmaАй бұрын
Hey Cyc thank you for choosing my videos. I did not prescribe a foam cannon dilution for any products, on the other hand, I tend to recommend 1:10 in the cannon usually works fine with most soaps. if you fill your 32oz bottle to the line it should be at least 3oz or 100ml. By the way make sure you're using a proper pressure washer and quality foam cannon which are the most important pieces to make foam here.

Hasn't the formula of GSF changed in the last 2 years ? I recently bought GFX. Never used any Koch chemie soap in the past. Plenty of other soaps... I just love it !!! GFX Has super scent. Must say I always use a prewash. (Koch chemie vorreiniger B or labo cosmetica primus 2.0 in pump sprayer) Then I foam the car with GFX 50ml in 500ml water. And I use 5l water in bucket with 25ml GFX. And the experience is incredible. It's so slick... In my opinion the GFX mixture in the bucket is very slick! Slicker than carpro descale. In Europe you can buy 1l of GSF for 13.5 euro. 5l for 55 euro At this prices you can use more product than needed. What is the price of GSF in USA and canada? Diy detail soap in Europe is mega expensive. Incredible suds 22euro for 473ml. 😮
@Detailing_Dogma16 күн бұрын
Hey Seb, GSF is around 28$ USD or 37$ CAD for 1L, it just needs to be more concentrated or the user need to use more than the prescribed dosage to get a competitve lubricity, thats just my opinion, I have almost every soap under the sun and I didnt love it. Obviously US stuff in EU is more than here and vice versa, that has to do with the import and export, exchange rate etc.. Better to use National stuff it'll be cheaper in the end for sure.

Salut Frank! Lequel me conseillerais-tu ? Et toi, préfères-tu ton savon liquide ou visqueux? Et tu fais vraiment une sacré job, bientôt 10k abonnés, ouffff!

@_Mailman2 ай бұрын
@Detailing_Dogma stated dilution is 80-128:1....so in a 32 ounce bottle sprayer you are looking at .25-.5 ounces of P&S. That's pretty dilutable if you ask me. Better than most anything on the market currently. I would use 1 ounce in a 32 ounce spray bottle and call it good like just about any other soap on the market.
@Detailing_Dogma2 ай бұрын
@@_Mailman why diluting your soap in spray bottle im curious. Normally you dilute shampoo in 3 to 4 gallons of water in a bucket. Most soap in my video have 500:1 dilution and 256;1.

Am I missing something - why are you including a snow foam in a shampoo comparison?
@Detailing_Dogma4 ай бұрын
Hey Shiney, appreciate your concerns. The brand advertise it as a handwash soap as per their instruction label quote ''Handwash: Pour 50 ml into 10 litres water, clean the vehicle with washing mitts and rinse with water.'' Hope that answers your concerns. Cheers ✌️
@ShineyAds4 ай бұрын
@@Detailing_Dogma I would disagree about the advertising - the label does say it's a snow foam and the label explains it's for pre wash before those hand wash instructions, so I wouldn't expect it to perform as good as other dedicated shampoos. I would interpret the hand wash instructions that you can use it as a shampoo in a pinch if you have nothing else to hand (as I'm sure you could probably do with any other snow foam with similar dilutions - and results!) AS seems to be their main shampoo product.
@Detailing_Dogma4 ай бұрын
@@ShineyAds Fair enough, in the US there a large community using GSF has main soap and claiming it's the best for years. In other words it's widely used as a main car wash soap here, makes sense to compare it. KCX has better option for pre-wash in 5L here. AS and AF are the same and aren't very slick either.
