I had my Big Green for over a decade before I decided to upgrade to the newer black model (the Big Green Pet Pro) with the more ergonomically friendly unified handle. Unlike most of these flimsy, consumer-grade machines, the Big Green is a commercial grade machine that you can repair whenever necessary. I will always own a Big Green for as long Bissell continues to manufacture it. And given their increasing market share in the rental market, it will probably be available for the foreseeable future.

Just wanted to say I really needed to buy one as I was sick of running to Lowe’s and grabbing the big green and paying 35 bucks a rental so I thought might as well buy something that gets good reviews here that’ll cost the same as a few rentals at Lowe’s. I did end up getting the shark carpet expert ex120 which I don’t think is much different than the ex121 and I didn’t need a hose because I already have a spot cleaner. I am very happy with the results. My water was nice and brown (ew), even after running through a second time with just water. It’s actually pretty easy to use although I did use his idea and mix up a bunch of solution so I don’t have to keep measuring and adding detergent each fill. I’m usually used to being able to control the spray instead of it automatically spring when you go forward, but it does have a switch to choose to just suction.
@mikedaniels93312 ай бұрын
One thing I noticed out of all the shampooers you have there. I use the Bisel big green BG 10 two motors. I think that makes a difference if you use that particular one it will grab all the stains. I’ve been using the big green for three years in my place where I live. It’s so good this machine it will fade the carpet if you’re not careful is that good so I think Bissell BG 10 is the way to go because of the dual motors in great suction that thing will get the stains up if you go over the area where the stain is and squeeze the trigger for the solution to go down in the carpet and then you got something. I guarantee it because I’ve been using it for over three years without a glitch. Love you work good work keep doing what you’re doing. You still get three thumbs up.👍👍👍

Another great video! I just had a small request. In your future vacuum reviews, can you mention or at least take into account vacuum head width in your rankings? What I've found with several cordless vacuums is that the cheaper vacuums tend to have smaller widths and that leads to a lot more back and forth motion when actually using the vacuum.
@user-pn5zo4km3l8 ай бұрын
Glad to see the shark tested with the same solution as everything else. Still so wary after buying a Shark vacuum though; performance is adequate, but parts support is abysmal. Purchased it 2 years ago and the battery has been out of stock the entire time. Mine didn't go bad, but when doing a deep clean I can't finish the whole house on a single charge. Been considering getting a Dyson because they are least have the batteries for it in stock.

@fredarters60343 ай бұрын
First of all this is an amazing video! The detail and time you put in to compare is fantastic. I wanted to share my experience though with your front runner, the Shark EX201. I was originally going to buy the Prohead 2x Rev Pet Pro Plus based on prior year videos but given the results here I went with the Shark. Got it yesterday and used it on one bedroom about 170sqft, and my results were not good IMO. Had to fill the tank up 3 times for one cleaning and that was with one pass fwd and back for every part of the room. I did the dry vac setting over the carpet and that made it more dry but overall I had to empty the tank more than 3 times for the room. For a single room that was a lot of tank switching. What bugged me most though is that I pre vacuumed the room with my Shark vac which pulled up a lot of dirt and hair. Yet while cleaning with the EX201 it would leave big wads of hair and fibers every other pass or so that I had to then pickup by hand. Ended up manually picking up about 2 big man handfuls of gunk that the machine did not pickup. The machine picked up some too but left so much on the ground that I would not say it was cleaned. I ended up doing a 2nd cleaning on the room today and had the same results, with more hair wads everywhere. I was overall very disappointed. I think the thing your test is missing, as if you need more work for your next video, is a ground in dirt / hair pickup test, as some of that is going to get ground in so deep that a vacuum wont get it all and the carpet cleaning is left to deal with it. This test mostly is focused on the stain cleaning test. Maybe I missed some details somewhere but wanted to share my experience.
