I recently built my new machine in the Panzer Max case and love it. So much room for my air cooled build, with the option to watercool, and because i take my tower to Lan parties, the carry handle was a must for me. The included headphone hook is a bonus too.

Someone actually talking about the case's features and what its like to build in it in a language I can actually understand or just spends like 20mins just talking about its looks! I would imagine acoustics take a bit of a hit in this case considering it uses a lot of mesh screening.

If you have to run your fans loud enough to be irritating on a 360 rad then you have some really, really shitty fans. 3 NF P12's running flat out is only 24.6dB, and with the low noise adapter it's only 17.4dB. A single NF F12 peaks at 22.4dB, or 18.6dB with the low noise adapter. They're currently $19.95 on Newegg. If you put in a custom loop on a 1080 ti SLI system and don't have $60 for decent fans you're doing something horribly wrong.

I am not sure if you are aware of the fact that for example the Corsair 570X comes with Sp120 fans, whose you cannot control freely from Software profiles. Also the Sp120s are maxing out at 1400 so yes if you have a AIO or RAD your choice should not be RGB as of right now, as most of those fans are not really "Cool" to run Watercooling, or you have to run them at Max Speeds which makes a silent cases a mute point. The HD120s have a bit more wiggling space for that but hey, just wanted to get that out there. Also most external fan controllers (HD vs SP) are not compatible. So are the Thermaltake vs Corsair controllers, and to run any of these vendor's fans you need to run their controllers. So talking about noise and fan speeds when dealing in most cases with RGB fans as of right now its pointless. Either you want the looks or you want a Cold system that you can push a little higher and keep it a bit down on the noise

I got this case seeing it here at Jay, and it's a really fine case for 90 usd, I had to upgrade from my old antec 300 as my new 1080 wasn't fitting. This case is quite modern, definetly has amazing airflow as I have 8 high airflow fans installed. I'm not sure why some people would complain about it, ok, it has a tight area in the back, I used to be terrible at wire management, this case forced me to learn to properly arange the cables so I can close the right panel. The pastic looks ok, the mesh looks premium, it probably has one of the best airflows on the market. My only other choice was H500P Mesh but I dropped it as the roof was plastic not mesh. The Panzer features a mesh roof that allows 3 fans. The glass panels are really nice. All intake fans have dust filters, it was quite easy to build in it despite being my second build, there is a tutorial on youtube for everything about this case, I really can't think of a better airflow case in this budget. It feels a bit not wide enough but it's actually made just right. Would I buy it again after spending half a day building my pc in it, yes.

Well i can safely say i will now be getting this case. Building my 2nd build mainly taking new parts and mixing with my old ones and figured i would change the theme, saw this case and loved it but didnt know if it would suit me. You should take a look at Phanteks Eclipse series of cases. The Eclipse P400S includes a tempered glass side panel, sound dampening foam, 10 color LED lighting, and decent dust filtering in an ATX mid-tower package for $89.

High) I built my rig in an Aerocool p7-c1. It is similar in a many ways to the Cougar here (including the pricing, airflow capabilities and being water-cool-friendly) and yet it has one advantage - LED strip integrated into the front panel. In conjunction with the Thermaltake programmable fan set, it keeps cool and look awesome)

Lyndon 10-12 on 1080p low and 20-25ish on 720p low, but i get it playable at 40+ fps crazy low resolution :) btw my main pc has a 970 so i get 300fps there :P

Don't forget to water Fred as well! To answer your question, I dig the case. I would have liked to see some dust filters but having positive pressure helps a lot with that, and that case looks very optimized for it. I have a Corsair Carbide 400C, which I like, except for the dust filter is hard to get to because the front panel does not come off easily, at least on my model. I probably would have gotten this case if it existed a year ago.

Jerry phanteks evolv atx, the build quality and ease of building is amazing. Only issue is the airflow, which isn't great. The phanteks enthoo pro m is the same interior chassis but has a different exterior and has better airflow, so there's another case to consider.

I recently switched from my old, trusty cube case into a Corsair 760GT - I like it. Especially the panels, no TG, but the ease to open and the option to remove them without screws is fantastic. I'm going for a custom water loop in it, and it "barely" but still was able to take in my thick 45mm radiator, and my huge 270mm reservoir and a d5+top all inside. I love the easily removable front filter for quick cleaning and I still use an optic drive so I find the 5.25" drive cage useful, although, I would like the option to remove either single drives or the entire thing, but beggars can't be choosers. I really like it and I got it for half the price so it was a real bargain.

I still think the Define S is the best sub 100$ watercooling/air cooling case. It just has everything you could want. Minus tempered glass and a powersupply shroud, if that's your thing. I have an rm750x so it matches the rest of my components and actually looks quite nice.

I have a Phanteks P400S. I would prefer a case made from super aids and ebola monkeys. I have no rear/front/side pannel on it at all, it has no top mount rad support, no airflow, the grommets for the SATA cables (ALL THE CABLES) are too close to the MOBO to make look good, it's just a skeleton filled with shit, makes all my custom lighting/sleeved cables pointless because keeping it all together causes too much heat. I NEED MORE AIRFLOW!! PHANTEKS, HOW DARE YOU.

Thats why i always buy cases with open front (though they are about to extinct) for better airflow.I dont understand this trend with sealed fronts.They only allow intake front airflow from some tiny slits they have on the sides.

i have this case. It is nice looking, has many useful slots and the fans are good quality. i will bought a alphacool water kit and will install it next week. it has enough space to accomodate it with 3 fans in push pull front side and 2 be quiet fans on topand back. i havent regret it buying it.

Big fan Jay! - I use the Phanteks Entho Evolv ATX (non acrylic). I've been freaking out about the airflow issues. I actually did what you said, and pointed the rear 140 fan to draw in air instead of exhaust, and did a small mod on the front panel by adding separators to the screws so the panel sticks out a bit more to let in air. The front panel actually sticks out enough to be flush with the rest of the panels, so it doesn't look bad at all - it looks as if it should have been shipped like that from the start. I also removed the air filters on the top (not sure why you'd need dust filters on an exhaust vent anyway). I can send some pictures over if you'd like. Anyway, love the videos, big fan again, take care

Cougar Panzer-S (shown in this video), it has tinted tempered glass and includes 4 120mm fans.. Cougar Panzer has transparent tempered glass and includes only 1 120mm fan.

So early on this year I got a Thermaltake Suppressor F31, for my old system for $99, with plans of putting a new build that is water cooled into it. The case I think is worth having you take a look. Picked it up from newegg, only downside is I had to order the power supply cover from thermaltake, but the cover does allow for an extra 2 ssd mounts and only set me back for $25.

I've loved Cougar for years. My first build was in thei challenger case, and i've got fans, keyboards, mice, and psu's from themthat are still kicking after 2+ years. I bought this case and just finished my build in it about 4 days ago. I adore this thing. i may be a fanboy, but if you're considering getting this thing, do it. The price/performance is too good to pass up.

I am using the Corsair Carbide 275R with tempered glass. It is only $60usd and looks, imo, far sleeker with cleaner lines. I run it with four fans and it does a great job.

Generic Dank Meme Thing is though (IMO anyway) there are enough great, clean looking and minimalistic cases on the market, it is nice to see a change. I am glad for this case's existence, it looks clean, and minimalistic (to an extent) and not super edgy and gamery, but it is big, a little bulky and has some detailing. It stands out, but not too much that it looks weird. It is for people who have been wanting that type of case, but have not been able to get something like that at a decent price (evolv ATX tg is similar but it costs nearly 3 times as much where I live). Not everyone will like the look of this or the evolv ATX or the eclipse p400, but not everyone will like the S340's and the Corsair 400c's.

I've been using the panzer max since my new build in 2017 and I am still just as happy looking at it now as I was when I build the system. Will be giving it an update in the coming months, however, the case will remain the same

Awesome case for a great price. It reminds me A LOT of my CoolerMaster Master Case 5 pro with the big open vents on the top, bottom, and front. I wish more manufacturers went this route in lieu of better air flow. I never really see anyone seriously recommending the Master Case series much though, probably because of it's cost vs the much much cheaper options.

Dear Jay I must say that i am a bit disappointed in your opinion of this case. I have build many computers over the fast few years, and never have i come across worse quality hardware than what i recently experienced with my purchase of this case. The Construction is poorly made, from cheap metals, cheap plastic front and top sections that feel like the quality of an old LADA, included fans with rainbow colored cables and an overall poorly designed back card slot array as well. I could keep on going... Not once in this video you highlight any of this more critical podent flaws of which this product is full of. Why Jay? I had to return this case on the spot, not even a second thought of maybe keeping it crossed my mind. Sorry Jay, but i really was disappointed of you by this one. I just got a Phanteks Enthoo Pro M with the acrylic panel and am looking forward to building in it. It's a similar price to this case but still has optical drive support, which I like, if for nothing more than watching movies I have on disc.

But now i really desperatly would love to see a review of the new Panzer-G 4x temperglass side panel case model. Its roughly the same price range but looks absolutly stunning, im just really worried that all those glass panels could kill off the air flow for most of the case, and massive air flow room was one of its best qualities.

Ali0The0King Its a satin matte black surface. doesn't matter if the top coat is bloody diamondtanium - if its satin matte black, its gobba scuff and scratch when you look sharply at it.

Go grab a rough rock from outside and rub it on your arm. Now rub the rock on your monitor. Notice that shit scratches shit regardless depending on the sharpness. It's density that matters more

Idk. with the number of fans, I would've like to have a fan controller, even for a little bump in the price. I'm guessing the preinstalled ones are powered through mollux, so it'd be nice to test their sound levels. I love the design for the mesh. Very smart to have noise dampening pockets made out of the mesh itself so as to not get in the way of airflow.

I got the azza Titan with a full tempered glass side panel for $60 on Newegg. i. love. the way it look with my RGB lights. airflow is lacking a bit but it is water-cooling compatible. it's really nice and roomy, not hard to build in like other cases I've used. I recommend for those on a tight budget but still want to get in on the RGB tempered glass dad that's going on now

Jay they have the panzar max g which has the 2x 5.25 bays which are removable and it has a bunch of extra features like push pull on the top too. It also uses tempered glass on the g model

Its a great case. I have a custom water cooling loop with a 240mm on top and a 360mm at front. Cooling a r7 1700 clocked at 4.05 ghz. Temps are great at 45°c it load with the fans at the slowest

Best Tower case for me is still the Coolermaster HAF-X. It's got all the slots that i need aswell as top airflow. Never had any overheating issues with it, even with my PREVIOUS System featuring an FX8350 and 2x Sapphire R9 390 Card's (CPU on a 120mm Rad, GPU's on Sapphires TRi-X Aircoolers) currently running a 1700X with a 240mm Rad and a Zotac 1080 AMP on air can fit a 120/140mm rad in the back and up to a 360mm on the top (push- pull isnt an issue even with thick rad's)
