Forgot mastercoat the actual best chassis paint. Holds up better. Just have to use the rust seal then the paint

Never use rubbberized coating on your frame. It will destroy it. Ive never tried por15 but several videos show updates after a couple years of that stuff trapping moisture and ruining frames. Best thing you can do is get rid of most of the rust you have by needle scaling and grinding, then paint and use fluid film or PFC once a year.

I painted my car frame with POR15. After a year out in the sun it has faded. Do you think another coat of the 1050104 GM paint would stick to it or should it be stripped down to bare steel again? Also, would there be a chemical reaction that would make it lift? How about Rustoleum primer surfacer with reducer on top? Thank you for the video and your help!

Por15 says right in the instructions that it needs a top coat (which they also sell) otherwise sun light will fade it.

fluid film or any other wax based coating is the only way to go. doesn't look as good but it actually stops the rust.
