I stayed here in April 2022 it was amazing! I stayed in my quarantine hotel first and then moved straight to the quarter ari after I got my results. I was blown away by the pool and the rooms!

Re: Pizza Company, it opened about 20 years ago when the guy who owned the Thai Pizza Hut franchise decided to not renew his franchise and converted all his Pizza Huts to Pizza Company stores. Someone else then picked up the Pizza Hut franchise for Thailand. I believe Pizza Company has outlets throughout Asia and the Middle East, but none in Europe and the western hemisphere (yet)

Nice. 800 baht has always been the cheapest that I could find for a hotel in Bangkok. My favorite hotel in Bangkok is "Lodge 61" for 800 baht all these years for a room with two single beds. It is across Sukhumvit street from the Ekamai bus station.

Obviously a great find. I expect the price would've been higher under normal, pre-pandemic circumstances. Always found Bangkok is the best big city in Asia for finding awesome hotel deals. Worth noting though that Cambodia is very good as well and I've not yet been to Vietnam..

It’s a great hotel. Stayed here in January 2021 in the larger corner room. Worth the extra price for the 2 walls of windows and expansive views. The bathroom has a wall of windows too. (With shades for privacy) Modern place and close to the Ari BTS station.

How much did you pay for one night ? How much was breakfast?

In January 2021, it was 5000 THB for 1 week stay in the larger Superior room with panoramic view, no breakfast. This is the price when you book directly through the front desk at the hotel. Which is about $24/day USD. You could pay for the buffet breakfast at 200 THB a meal, I only did that once as there are many food options nearby in Soi 8. If you book a daily hotel rate (vs weekly/ monthly), then the buffet breakfast can be included at a much lower rate. But really there are lots of food options just outside the hotel.

This hotel pre COVID was going for nearly 100 USA dollars a night, I visited when it open and was given a tour. There is an alcohol ban throughout the country since the end of December, prior to that the sky bar was a nice sunset option. Btw your guava and other juices, the welcome drink, they are concentrate with water. Most hotels now in Bangkok have great deals since locals prefer to travel for long holidays to Patty’s, Hua Hin or Phuket.

Guava is tropical fruit in the region found from India through the Philippines. I personally like it very much . Somewhat close to coarse fiber added kiwi juice, mixed with some Apple juice perhaps

Nice looking hotel if you like to stay away from the hustle and bustle of central Bangkok or need to catch a train or a flight at DMK. However, as a tourist you probably would feel like missing the action after a couple of days.

Yes they have weekly and monthly rates. I paid 5000 THB for a week stay. ($166 USD) in January 2021. The monthly rate is 19,500 THB as of February 2021. You have to book through the hotel front desk for those rates.

Agree with everything you said .... but I did not experience the breakfast package..... perhaps I should have. U forgot to mention how far the BTS (critical info in Bangkok) is from the hotel, it is a bit of a walk, perhaps 300 to maximum 400 m, but abe to walk, not too much by Bangkok standards. (Also stayed at the then tallest Baiyoke about 4 years ago, right by Indira market area)

have you ever tried rockport or clarke's brand of shoes? if you have, which is more comfortable between these 2 and your current shoes? the skybar is nice so is the pool. but the room itself is rather spartan. having the microwave is a nice amenity, but not have any reasonable table space kind of defeats the purpose. at 800 baht a night, one can't really expect much. I guess the hotel is designed for used as a bedroom and not for anything remotely like a staycation purpose. good review. and it's good to see you are developing your own style of presentation.

I am a late riser, so when I wake up, typically I will just made the 10 AM cut off. hence I factor in the breakfast. else the first meal each day for me in my vacation would be lunch instead.... having prepaid for the breakfast, it will give me incentive to get up sooner....
