My wife just gave me this pedal for Xmas. She bought it because she thought it looked pretty and knows I like pedals but she has no clue about what they do😂 Anyway I have a high end bass board for touring and recording but I said what the heck. I’ll give it a whirl. For me what I love about it is the room setting and the low pass filter. I have an Oceans 11 that doesn’t have that setting and I always wish it did, nor does it have a LPF. So to my surprise this little guy is going on the board as my go to reverb on the rare occasion I use that effect. I’ll mess with the ambient stuff for fun but it’s not really my thing. Most recently I was the touring bassist for the Motown group The Miracles for a few years and that’s kind of my bag. But maybe this pedal will open up some new ideas for me. Always willing to listen and learn! Anyway gotta love a wife who’ll give it her best shot for you and hit the mark with something very cool I’d of never thought of trying.

I use the "Lofi" mode with my yamaha seqtrak on resample and shuffle with beat repeat as I turn up the decay to create a dramatic crescendo.

Hello I just got the M-Vave for my Volca Keys. It sounds great but I have a problem; it's Mono. If you connect the outuput to headphones it only plays one side. Ho do you get the stero sound as outcome of the Reverb effect? A mixer is needed? I just need to hear the synth in both headphones... Many Thanks

You just have to use a mono jack/mini jack cable, because the volca output is stereo but the m vave has mono input. You can find it on Thomann or Amazon

Just got one advertised as a Sunydog Reverb pedal on Amazon UK at £23, at half the price of the one advertised as M-vave! It seems to have a univibe-like modulation in the reverb tail that I haven’t worked out how to stop yet 😖 but it is still a bargain. Hoping that the Elemental will appear on Amazon UK.

Not sure if I just got a crappy build version but mine has a really significant pop when you turn it off and on also has a very high pitched hiss when it’s paired with any overdrive or fuzz

Regarding the pop there is a really simple mod that you can do to eliminate it, its also way less noisy if you are using an iisolated PSU

@@paulyates5092 Sure, you need to add two 1M ohm resistors to the input and output of the pedal, you can do this by placing two resistors, one between pins 1 and 4 of the footswitch and one between pins 4 and 7 of the footswitch

Some people are sperimenting a noise when engaging and disengaging the pedal. Mine is ok, but I've read comments about it in this and other clips.

If you got a budget ..this is a great deal..but my recommendation would be the hall of fame 2 or the oceans 11 reverb...or if you feel especially ambitious..the astral destiny is fantastic, but over $200. My advice is always check out used pedals from trusted sites.

Thanks for the video, and on the strength of the review i purchased one of these mini pedals and i am generally very pleased with it for the price, it has a lot of sounds but i get a noticable click when i press the bypass switch, has any one had this problem this and is it worth replacind the foot switch. Great review by the way.

It's the biggest complaint i've seen with this pedal. I have also heard that if you click it a lot, eventually it mellows out, but i have yet to try it.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the noise level of this pedal. I bought one from Temu so I'm pretty much stuck with it. I am powering it with a one spot ps and it still has a low pitched hum when turned on.

Exactly same here. I got mine from amazon, so when the seller refused to help me, amazon credited me on the A-Z garantee. Since i got it for free, i kept it. Trick, turn it on before you turn on your Amp. Problem solved. Still noisy click when you disengage it though.

Good sounds, great value for money. Yes it has no tails, it means that when you disengage the pedal the reverb tail stops

I have 2 mvave reverb. Mini universe and dig reverb. Both have a high pitch squeal. Made louder with overdrive. Really annoying with OD. AM I doing something wrong. Whether im running them the through front of amp or through loop it squeals.

Technically, yes, but you would either have to have a quarter inch output from your microphone for use an XLR to quarter inch adapter and then a quarter inch to XLR adapter on the way out. Not sure if you would be able to use this if the mic requires phantom power.

Hi Perry, thanks for the response and the excellent review. I have two units of this pedal, purchased separately 4 months apart. Both units have a "pop" when first activated. It's a "pop" with a lot of volume. After pressing the first time, the "pop" decreases as the pedal is pressed, but never completely disappears. I've tried using battery power, isolated power supplies, USB power and I couldn't get rid of the "pop". It's a shame, because the pedal has excellent tones...
