Hi Katie, so glad you made this video, as I love chypre fragrances. Another very popular perfume that is a chypre is Coco Mademoiselle. And Miss Dior "edt originale" is also a chypre! I've been wearing Chanel No. 19 EDT (EDT was the brand's original formulation for everything until marketing told them they had to start making EDPs lol), and it is often called a chypre too.

I just got into fragrances a couple years ago and I'm a tourist for sure, but I just found out that all of my favorite scents are chypres. I had no idea! Very interesting as I've always had an obsession with moss and earthy scents even before getting into perfume so it makes sense but its nice to finally put a name to it. I find chypres very deep mysterious and classy yet adventurous. Thanks for the rundown!

Jovan Musk oil has oakmoss listed in the ingredients, (made in Spain) but the spray cologne concentrate doesnt.(Made in USA) Idk why the regulations seem sort of arbitrary. I mean why not let the people decide whether or not they want to buy it?

I'm kind of there with you. With the ecological problems on our planet people are becoming more and more allergic to everything. So I guess big companies don't want law suits and stuff like that 🤷🏼‍♀️
