Civivi will be taking most of my paycheck with all the great models. I already own the 5 and want to add at least 5 more. The 2 favorite I own are Incite & Elementum.

William Mancel both of those are great. I have the Praxis which is similar to the Incite. I also own the Baklash and Lynchpin which are also excellent. I have handled most of their models and in my opinion the Praxis is their best model overall. And that is saying a lot because they have quite a few absolutely phenomenal models.

@@AlexanderSLeBlanc I have the Praxis also. The Incite is almost identical to the Praxis, but the Incite has a larger blade stop pin & a flatter contoured handle. I think the Praxis is the best value. I see Civivi has renamed the Lynchpin into the Vexer, I guess because Kershaw has a Linchpin. Whatever they call it, I want one. 😁

@@WilliamMancel I am into the Praxis but I do not care for the gold liners. I know that I can just get the damascus with black liners but I'm not wanting to spend the extra dough. I wonder who's idea it was to put in those gold liners? Cheers

The one presented that I want the most is that sexy damascus McKenna. Civivi's damascus performs well; at least on mine. I've been taking the shred carbon fiber and copper damascus Incite to work for a week. The thin blade with it's high flat grind makes it a very capable slicer. Final beans.

I have the Asticus, in natural G-10, I honestly don't think you can find a knife with a better ride, action, looks an almost 4" blade, a true deep carry, hidden lanyard loop, fantastic for EDC or dress, unbelievably sweet, excellent quality, an excellent price.

I know your video time is limited, but I just picked up a Backlash and MAN am I in love with this. Upgraded to the G10 w/ carbon fiber inlays and was still under $60. Needed a new EDC to replace my 90s Smith and Wesson (yes, I've had it that long and am a frugal guy) and couldn't be more satisfied. Check this model out, highly anticipating a steel upgrade but this is tip top.

I was so impressed with my Elementum, I bought the s35vn model. It has better action, I think because of the lighter blade stock. Plus it slices through anything like butter.

The new odium model looks bad ass I just hope they make a slightly larger version. Even if it was 3 inches that would be perfect but the little coin wallet size is kind of a waste!

I love the odium. Not many have it, making it a great office carry with a suit. The blue is choice, the only drawback is the clip, which was removed. I love that knife in the office, small not scary but with an awesome bigger blade to do some hard cuts.

I can't believe the elementum is only $50, the action is so smooth, sure it's a cheaper blade steel but it's great for $50 and I got micarta handles for no extra cost, not to mention it's light weight and nice and thin. Great knife. Got my eye on the asticus next.

The best Civivis out right now that you can buy are the Keen Nadder and the Elementum Button Lock. Absolutely gorgeous and dependable knives and both around $70. Nicer then my $200 Spydercos even and much easier to use one handed.

Just to clarify, were any of these assisted-open? Edit: getting a lot of replies confirming my suspicion that none of these are assisted, which is desirable to me for what it is worth. Been eyeballing a R2D2 for a while as my first non-vic edc knife, but now with all of these offerings I am not so sure!

None of those are assisted, but they all have bearings that make them flip as quick as if the were. Personally, I like that better because assisted knives are annoying to close.

Hi David, I just purchased a civivi elementum tanto style knife. I love the size, materials and blade but it was awful to open. When you got past the detent it opened great and smooth. The initial break of the detent, plus the small but aggressive gimping tears up my fingers…. Maybe it’s a lemon and I’m gonna break her down…. But have you heard of issues with them out of the box?

Is it better to buy more "cheaper" knives like civivi or maybe 1 "higher end" knife? When I got into knives I first bought a ZT 0562cf and now I'm nervous to buy cheaper knives because of how well it held up these past few years. Any opinions?

If you know your blades, you can get amazing deals in the $50-80 gap, albeit mostly D2 steel and Chinese-made (some of my most favourite and used knives are Chinese D2). For example the Elementum is definitely one of the best knives I have ever owned and I have a number of blades from the $200 category. You may also wanna check out Steel Will Shaula, Kershaw Copper 3.25 Natrix, Kizer Roach, Kizer Sliver, Civivi Hooligan, We Knife Blitz, Spyderco Delica 4, SOG Terminus XR and, another one of my absolute personal favourites, GiantMouse Ace Iona ($100, but M390 steel and custom build quality).

If you don't abuse it, many budget knives can give many years of good service. IMO some high priced knives are overpriced knives.

I absolutely love the Incite. So underrated! I don't like the G-10 handle, though. Prefer the wooden one. For me, it's perfect.

Hey Tim, I have the elementum, got lucky and snagged one on Amazon I believe. It is awesome. The only knock I found on it is the deep pocket clip seems flimsy. I am a big guy and on two different occasions I have caught this clip on a chair arm and bent it. I just put it in a vice and gently bent it back. That being said this has only ever happened to me with this knife. Cheers

I don't like the Wyvern's pocket clip. It's way too stiff and is rough going in and out of my pocket. Anyone know where I can get a different clip?

My daily carry has been the civivi little fiend in Damascus since the day ir came in the mail. I loooove that knife, an my one and only complaint is, that the screws in the pocket clip are not recessed. Other than that, it's a solid edc knife, imo of course.

4:31 Good-looking knife. I kinda like the halfstop, because those few backlocks that I own have become so drop-shutty, it's bordering dangerous😏. But I don't really get why they put a CF bolster on this ... CF scales make sense for saving weight, but on the pivot bolster it does little for balance and nothing for grip. Would love it if they'd put a clip on it😑

I really like the Anthropos and Incite, but for my EDC I prefer to have a lanyard hole...just my preference. Add those and I'll take them both. I have a couple of Civivi branded knifes...solid performers IMO.
