Dehn means fat , oud is sure a wood with fragrance, and Nashwah means fragrance, Brother smelling oud closely is like animalistic smell, so you well said that do not smell it from optimizer, spray it and smell its legendary fragrance Oud is a legend

Try it if you would like to smell like a farmer. It literally smells like a farm, a cowshed to be more specific. I do like the presentation and the opening but the dry down is a big disappointment. Don’t expect to receive compliments while wearing it, that’s not going to happen. It’s not a pleasant scent , definitely not a crowd pleasers and compliment getters but it worths being sniffed. I am a sucker for smoky woody scents , this has that smoky vibe, like you burnt some woods but just in the first 30 minutes, after that starts smelling like feces. If you want a pleasant smoky scent that will definitely get you compliments, especially from the ladies, try By the Fireplace by MMM

So what you're trying to tell us is that loana didn't like it, right ? I have dahn al oud Safwa from the same line and it smells of Indian oud. There are many interpretations of oud and this one is for oud lovers. I doubt anyone used to paco rabbane or joop will approach you if you're wearing this.

It does not smell like scat instead up close at the bottle feels like burned cigars, at first I hated now I absolutely love it is inexpensive yet it smells like honey leather the dry has fruits with the oriental Guerlains DNA.

Much different! CDNIM is like a safe manly fragrance with a twist, but Nashwah is something that you either love or hate. It's a attention grabber.

Nice one. Mind you, if you really want a cow shit opening from Rasasi I'd recommend Faquat Lil Rijal. That's pure barnyard on me until it settles then it's heaven. People check their shoes when you've only just applied that one so best to put it on an hour before going out because by then it's beautiful. I've got Nashwah too and love it's deep smokiness but the cow pat is absent on me which proves how the same fragrance works differently on other people. It's one heavy fragrance that I can pull off on a hot night in a pub with one spray only. Brings to mind how I imagine being in a timbered Tudor house with an open hearth fire in the 16th century smells like. A pirate would wear this. Lol. Rich, deep, complex, natural.

Wow, first off, I have to give you props for the way you described this fragrance. A pirate fragrance, well said... I see it going in that direction :D. Faqat Lil Rijal smells even worse in the opening probably because it has even more "natural"oud. It seems that the pure the oud is in a fragrance, the more it smells like crap. The most expensive perfume ingredient smells like crap but also smells gorgeous.

Great review! Rasasi Dhanal Oudh Nashwah deserves more attention! Great masculine composition, great performer! I love it! Even at close it is great on me! Nothing skanky, funky or dirty. Daring - yes, but for my taste Nashwah is a pleasant - I got woods, honey, tobacco... Amazing!

Thank you! I can highly recommend you to try Nawaf by Swiss Arabian - again there are notes of tobacco, honey, leather, creamy amber, but Nawaf is more rounded and easy to wear. For me, Nawaf got true WOW factor like Nashwah...

Best clubbing fragrance? Not at all.... It's brutal even for my experienced nose, not inexperienced people going to club. It's pungent, barnyard type oud. I like this one, but I would not recommend this as clubbing scent at all.

Jozef Chudy at that point, why even wear something that smell that bad. I get that you've grown bored of the common "designer" scent, something pleasant, but why is "shit" as notes so appealing. Hahaha, I've not into new releases of fragrances nowadays, as it's all the same(I guess I've gotten bored), but I've never thought, "I want to smell like ass". Lol. I don't see the appeal of the gross niche scents, the non designer inspired ones.

Ssup guys :D I believe you are confused. Oud comes in different forms in fragrances and as pure as it comes the bad the fragrance smells in the opening. Pure oud, if you smell it, it smells really bad, crap like. At the same time, it can make a fragrance smell really good, especially in the scent trail. That's why I said it smells very good in the air, if you're getting whiffs of it, but up close... especially right after spraying it... it can be really bad. This is actually one that it quite easy to wear compared to other pure oud fragrances like Faqat Lil Rijal also from Rasasi.

ifishares : You continually make these unappealing remarks about Oud. Not ALL Ouds have the same scent. It depends on what part of the Country it is grown in and where. It also depends on how clean the water was during distillation process. The water needs to be checked for fungus buildup as this is one reason Oud gets that strong fecal 'barnyard' odour. If fungus is seen floating on top of the distillation tanks it must be cleaned right away. That's when you're dealing with REAL Oud. The fragrance you are not fond of, Dhanal Oudh Nashwah, also is very strong and lasting plus the scent is completely different on me- this fragrance is one of my FAVORITES. Perhaps someone dropped your bottle into some actual horse**** as they were packing it up to mail to you... ❤💥🎵🔥🐾🌵👀👅💦🌟❗

Gilberto Flores - why? Because I want to try them at least. I do like the oud note (having quite a lot of middleeastern oud based scents). Soft ones from Yas, Arabian Oasis, Afnan, My perfumes, Arabian Oud, Ard Al Zaafaran, Rasasi, Swiss Arabian etc... But Naswah, Jurrah and Ruwah are the type of brutal, barnyard-ish oud that I despise.
