I appreciate this video. As a redhead with purple undereye circles, I have dozens of concealers from the drug store (Maybelline, Covergirl, L'Oreal, Revlon, Physicians Formula, LA Girl) in the lightest shade available in each that were all too dark. Wasted money! The only ones that were light enough were Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous in 105 fair (light coverage) and LA Girl Pro conceal in Fairest (very thick full coverage - too light of a color). I wanted another concealer option so thank you for your review.

There is a new shade for the Maybelline Fit me concealer - 05 ivory - it's so light I can only use it under the eyes and it highlights for me 😲

The “fit me” concealer is what I used to use and is terrible 😂 so yellow (for the palest shade) and not opac at all 😞

All of these are too dark on me . Now I use fenty in 100 although I don’t like the formula but it’s just fair enough for me . I do want to buy a white concealer to see if it would look good and if it didn’t work I will use it in other things.

*But what type of skin do you have? *Which of these are hydrating or drying? *Wear time? *Creasing? *There were only 5 concealers, so seeing them compared to each other in this video would have been helpful. (We shouldn’t need to look at a blog for important information.) You talked about thickness/opacity of the 5 concealers, but really nothing else. I like the video concept but there’s so many product properties that you failed to mention. 😔

All I can find is light fair in Bye Bye undereye, not light ultra fair, and light fair is in N so it will be yellow on me.

Coming from another fair redhead, all you pale ladies just need to get the Wet n Wild Illumi-naughty in Ivory-into-you. Doesn’t crease or oxidize on me. It’s $5.

When you are searching for gingers on experience concealers for fair skin because they have the fairest complection but the products are still too dark for you.

Also as a fellow fair person, please don't use the derogatory term "pale" that invites bullying. We can call ourselves "the fairest one of all" that shuts up the bullies really fast as they stop to consider what the fairy tale writers meant by that, oh yes, they were talking about us beauties, the Fairest ones of all. And since you aren't likely to be around another fellow redhead at the time, no one will be able to notice is someone is perhaps fairer than you.

(I know I'm years late, but I have to say this) What a load of you-know-what! "Pale" is not derogatory: it is an accurate description. "Fair", on the other hand, is indirectly derogatory to everyone with darker skin, because if we're 'fair' then they must be 'unfair': that's not very nice, is it? And who cares if you're the 'fairest' or not? It's not a competition: we just suck at making melanin. Get over yourself, pale princess (that's not a compliment, BTW).

@@AnneOnymaus redheads have an abundance of pheomelanin skin. Pheomelanin makes skin pink not brown. We aren't missing melanin. Pale denotes illness not shade.

@@Cats3to2 Pale- & dark-skinned people differ in the amount of melanin in their skin, not the type. For example, people with albinism are pale because they have a partial or complete absence of melanin of any type. Redheads often look pinkish because there is no eumelanin (the brown type) to conceal the visibility of connective tissue & blood beneath the epidermis, not because of the presence of phaeomelanin. If redheads' melanocytes produced phaeomelanin in "abundance", they would look orange, not pale: it is due to irregular distribution of dermal phaeomelanin that redheads often have orange-ish freckles. 'Pallor' denotes illness: 'pale' is simply a synonym for fair, one that does not cause offence to people of colour.
