I'm with Arna. The drugstore isn't anywhere near up to par when it comes to fair skin products, so high end and luxury is the best range to find things that suit us. Hopefully it'll change someday, but at the moment you need to spend high end money to get things that are pale skin friendly (which I'm totally okay with.)

Yes, I agree there definitely isn't a great selection at the drugstore! I don't mind spending on high-end products if they work well for me, it would just be nice if there were more affordable options. Hopefully soon there will be more awesome products for pale skin at the drugstore.

I recommend ripping the stopper out of shape tape once you get way down to the end - you get like another month out of it, it's ridiculous. Shape tape dethroned the Nars RCC for me too, it's so good!

My favorite concealers are the Tarte Shape Tape in Fair, Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer in Chantilly, and Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Creme in White Out And L1. They're all amazing for fair skin, especially super fair skin like mine. 😊

Super helpful :D I'm fairly light in skin colour, wouldn't really say pale, but light enough that I find it difficult to find a concealer that can cover my panda eyes and be in the right shade.

Not sure if you've tried it but the essence camouflage concealer in ivory is a really good and pale concealer and is also quite cheap

Concealer and foundation are my favourite kinds of makeup! It's a struggle to find shades light enough, especially in store here in my small town in Sweden. After watching many of your videos I ordered the Nars matte creamy concealer in chantilly, I'm so looking forward for it to get here! I've got the Nyx HD concealer in Alabaster but I find that it oxidizes quite a bit on me. And the coverage isn't great. Awesome video! ❤️

The Kat Von D is definitely my HG because the shade is the only thing I've found that works, but in order to get it to cover more I usually have to colour correct a wee bit. So I do wish it covered a bit more, but it is quite nice!

Yes I have the same experience! I can’t use it alone because it makes the darkness under my eyes look ashy! So colour correcting first and then going in on top to brighten is a good combo!

I swatched the new Rimmel lasting finish breathable concealer on my hand recently and the lightest shade (001 light ivory) looked really light compared to the other concealers that I was swatching in their lightest shades (they were Maybelline concealers and other Rimmel concealers). I have a feeling that the new Rimmel concealer would be good for fair skin!

when you apply NARS Chantilly the color is great but when it is dried, it gets a bit darker, so it's not that fair, keep that in mind if you are extremely pale as I am)

Yeah it’s sad haha! Well, they have a shade Vanilla which is cool toned but not as fair as Chantilly :( you could test it to see if it works, but otherwise the Kat Von D would be a good choice x

Hello, Arna! I swatched L1 at Sephora. I think it's meant to be a highlighter for very fair skin, because I don't think there's someone with that specific color (it's almost pure white). I ended up buying L5, but L5 is a little dark (L3 is just warm-toned).I also swatched Urban Decay in Fair Neutral and it was a great match. I've got Nars Soft Matte in Chantilly (I Love It for blemishes), Tarte Shape Tape in Fair Neutral (I also like It for blemishes and undereyes conceal). For reference I think my closest match is NC10 in Mac Studio Fix Fluid.

KVD Concealer Creme in White Out is the only concealer pale enough to work for my skin tone. L1 is what I use to conceal blemishes and redness and White Out is perfect for subtle highlighting. So yes, there are people out there that are fairer than ghosts. 😉👻

I recently tried the new Lacôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear concealer. They just had one tester/shade which was way too dark for me. But the coverage and texture seemed incredible! If they get the right color soon I will definitely try it.

I agree! I was given a shade that was INCREDIBLY dark haha but I played with the texture and it looked amazing! Quite similar to the new Bobbi Brown Concealer but that one has a fairly pale shade Porcelain

I also have too faced in very fair and mix it with urban decay light warm that is super yellow, best mix ever. I tried mixing with the white kat von d concealer, but it is thicker so it tends to look cakey more easily. Im curious to try the nars and tarte concealers. thanks for the video!

I have the Tarte Shape tape, UD (fair neutral and fair warm), Josie Maran and Too Faced btw. My favorite would probably be the Too Faced and I think the worst is the shape tape because it''s so heavy and drying for me and way, way too dark or pink (fair). I may pick up a concealing palette and see if mixing helps ;)

Is Tarte doing some huge PR thing seeing as so many people are obsessed w the concealer? I've bought it just because of how many people rave about it. I own probably over a 100 different concealers and I've found that one to be the worst..? It's SO insanely thick and it looks so heavy. It's incredibly drying (my skin is oily) and makes my underneath foundation which usually looks flawless to looking like a crusty mess. I by far prefer the Maybelline age Rewind but I'm extremely fair so when I want to look highlighted, their fairest shade is not my best option. Sure, Tarte's got a fantastic shade range and does not crease much but no matter what foundations, primers, anything that I use, it looks mediocre at best. Very odd.

When I first tried it I thought it was awful. Creased in two seconds and felt really thick. Then I started sheering it out with a very liquid concealer and that worked but I didn’t want to use two concealers. So basically just use the smallest amount possible and set it with a very fine loose powder (:

The key with Shape Tape is using what you need and no more than that. If you use it like most beauty gurus do you're going to be disappointed because that method looks great on camera, but not in real life. Just dot a little where you need it and you'll fall into the hype just like I did. It's truly an amazing concealer once you know how to use it for your skin type and preferences.

Hi Arna, just wanted to let you know that L1 shade in Kat Von D is discontinued - it is official answer from the brand. I still was able to purchase it on ebay, but official store does not have it already. I also ordered L5 concealer, will compare with L1 shade.

My fave concealers for pale skin, essence 2in 1 concealer (its been renamed I think, its basically got two cream concealers in one pan) also another essence concealer. And its been renamed also I think. But it used to be the "16 hour long lasting concealer" oh and boe professional concealer in the tube with a wand!
