I am so terrified of planes and boats but I really want to visit tokyo one day. I used to draw all the time in high school, but had a lot of pretty mean people tell me I sucked and well, it got me down and I stopped drawing for a very long time. Now, going back and watching some of your videos and hearing how happy you sound really kinda inspires me to go back and re teach myself drawing and sketching techniques. I'm actually pretty excited to start learning new stuff again. Who knows? Maybe I'll get pretty good and send you a picture! Thanks Jackie, you are amazingly inspirational.

I buy them at DickBlick in Ft Lauderdale & with a rewards card I pay $5.50 for Sketch & $3.50 for Ciao, $4.50 for refills. All prices are based on buying 12.

Lol, yeah, Copics are from Japan. I bought my base collection in Japan and was shocked when I got back to the US and found them being sold for up to 3 times as much per marker. =__=

So happy the prices are still so amazing on Copics in 2017! When I studied there in 2005, the Sketch markers were 315 each at the Animate stores. Most of them have a pretty complete offering too. But yeah, if you're near Shibuya, you may as well go to Tokyu Hands! Thanks for this vid! XD

Copic heaven indeed! My favorite part was watching the pens drop into the basket. Lol! Somehow I thought the prices would be better, but still loved seeing that incredible display. I'll have to check out the Copic paper. To this point, I've had my best Copic results using Gina K Designs luxury heavyweight cardstock. Great video!

When I was in Japan during my summer vacation, for around 5 days, we stayed in a small apartment in Shibuya Town, since Hotel Rooms were really expensive. But when we got there, the quickest store we had nearby, The LOFT, It was paradise. There were Copic markers there too, and I bought around 40 Copic Sketch. I wish I could go back!!!

Copic markers are so much cheaper in Japan than they are in the US and basically everywhere else. At least that's the case in the store you visited. Great video!

Ahh! I love Tokyu Hands, it where I got most of my Copics. :D I went to the one in Machida. They only have the Ciaos and Sketch markers at that one though. I go there so often and creep in the Copic aisle for so long the workers probably think I'm a big ole weirdo. Lolol. Especially since the Japanese citizens quickly get their items and leave. o.O

That is so freaking cheap O.O ......... In Denmark, at stores, they go for 65 DKK (1058 yen // 9.25 USD // 8.74 EUR) The cheapest online store nearby, located in Sweden they go for 797 yen ... If yall cannot afford to go to japan and buy the copics there , I recommend buying them off of art friend ( singapore based ) as they are about $7 for sketch in SGD , which in usd , is cheaper , Ciao are about $4 ish in SGD . They aren't cheap but its not as expensive when comparing to stores which sell them for $8+
