Thank you for this, as much as I'm liking Divinity: Original Sin one of my issues with it is the crafting system. It's not exactly easy to pick up, & I typically like creating things. I'm specifically trying on making better bows or at least bow strings, since the magical kind of bows don't seem to be popping up & I'm going on 09th level at this point.

Okay, should I head east, from where? I did finish the Troll king off, but I haven't the slightest idea how to find Hunter's edge. Though Divinity Original is awesome and will probably bve the #1This game for the next few yrs, the one aspect of Divinity that many people dislike is how limited the options can be sometimes in the game. Larian should gave the game give several clues on where to go next, not just one. Also, Larian should program timing counters into the code so that if a person proceeds for a long time without funding some new portion, the timer will cause more new info to be given to the party. This would be actually quite easy to program into the game as a fix, and it would help so many people who get stumped and then cannot proceed because they cannot find a certain new area. :) Here I am as a prime example. I completed so much of this beautiful game, but I have not the slightest idea on how to find Hunters Edge. I should go east, from where? BTW the other day I contacted Larian to congratulate them on the game's success. I advised they start coming out with a new add-on every month. Not needing any new changes to the game play or the game engine. Just add-ons with new maps and quests is fine. People will pay $19.99 for it every month. :)

Rockguitarnow Luculla Forest =) North of Cyseal is Luculla...east of luculla is the forest...u cant go past the log till u go SOUTH when u get to the forest...wizards house quest and stuff there...but in luculla if u did the Troll King quest...go to the bridge with trolls east of that, and one will kill him self, the other will become king...and u will open both bridges...

GamezglitchZ itchZ I'm at the Troll King's cave but there is nothing east of it. There is south and to the west south. And there is north and to the west north. There is not east from the Troll King's cave. Do you mean travel north from the Troll King cave, then to the west a little, then north and then east?

So you cant level up your crafting so you can create high level gear regardless of your character level?

Not really. The Crafting Skill level is just about you unlocking what you can actually do. Your character level is then applied to things where a "level" matters. Like making Boots (in the video) with Armour 20 and Level 14. It was Level 14 because his character who did the crafting was level 14. It's like this so you can't make incredible items early on as you'll be low level. Even with a crafting level of 5, if your character level is low you will only make Boots of Armour 5-10 (if you were character level 3, for example). I haven't tested the figures but this is how it works from what I can tell.

You said essences can't be used to improve weapons? not right mate i always use them to improve my damage...in a weapon have let's say 130-250 slash and 30-60 earth i apply another earth essence to it so it doubles the earth damage then i use the weapon on the wheel stone and it increase even more the slashing and the earth damage ;) ohh and by the way improving bows is only possible with bowstrings, made with 2 sinews (don't know how to make those unfortunately) they are pretty rare

Gamezglitchz Smithgaming no mate just air or fire or whatever essence will work on bows and normal weapons (didn't found a way to apply to tenebrium tho :( probably not possible because tenebrium weapons can't even be improved with smiting...really bad material hope they change that,at lvl 20 my Scarlet with a normal 2 hander empowered by blacksmith+essences+corrupted souls was doing 450-800 damage without buffs :3 but yeah i was 5 crafting and 5 blacksmith probably is important

Gamezglitchz Smithgaming Did you upgraded to last version? :) the last is 1.0.67 ohh and 1 more thing if your character is good with tenebriym add that to the weapon if instead is good with lets say two handed weapons you get a lot more damage if instead of tenebrium you use that slot for an essence like fire,earth etc

right now im working on new specs and i noticed that dump everything into tenebrium...and 0 into any weapon...give u ability to wield full tenebrium weapon to the max and able to craft them as well...

Games Glitches Channel Yeh I just found out i needed 3 tenebrium in the weapon section to be able to add the bars to my weapons. Now i have tenebrium elemental damage. I somehow found 2 tenebrium weapons so far but im not sure if you are able to place a secondary element to it (such as fire). Furthermore I already have 5 pts in two handed and just 3 in tenebrium, meaning I'll do less damage until i get a lot more pts to get 5 in tenebrium, decisions.. decisions :D

Nice int, but that 5 speed is brutal. You must be able to only do one spell a turn. May wish to add that putting Tenebrium on a weapon makes it a "Tenebrium weapon", meaning any points in 2h, or 1h now does nothing. Thanks for vid.

Is that so? Is it still worth putting Tenebrium on weapons? The damage boost seems pretty high, not even accounting for the half damage loss. Plus, I'm playing a Rogue, so raw additional damage is better than percentages. Knowing that, and planning for that, will definitely inform my decision about putting points in single handed. They could be better spent in bodybuilding, or willpower.

Matt Stoecklin not really lol !_! because the tenebrium skill overwrites ur 1handed or 2 handed skill it becomes pointless...elemental damage seems to be the best
