@@nottodead something you come across now and then. The Chinese H&R Clone has one insted of a pawl. Good in the way that they can not be shimmed. But never feel as nice as a pawl

Very nice. I'd love to know the weight of them if you have some scales. It is a very simple mechanism but works fairly well I think. I can see why companies copied them to make toys. My real pair of those have the same keyway design as the toy ones. I'd say yours are slightly higher security with having that thin keyway?

Il try and remember to check the weight later. If I forger remind me. They are simple. Makes sence for the toys. That keyway will make it more secure. Not massively, but it does restrict what you can get in there a bit
