If you notice, it works if you have electric retracting strikes. That all he used it on. Standard commercial locks and residential locks have an anti pick device, rendering this useless. I've been installing commercial door hardware for decades, and this is only good for retracting strikes.

Forced entries being flagged all over the building 😂. Just bought 2 of these to keep in my bag of tricks as door installation company owner. You'd be surprised how many newly installed locks can fail due to manufacturing QC issues.

That tool only works because the pin is extended into the strike plate. The "pros" that installed these doors didnt get it right. Oh, and locksmiths dont install doors. They pick and fix locks, or install new locks. In any case, that little pin should not enter the hole in the strike plate. That pin is actually what locks the latch from being picked like this.

Yet all installed by “professional” locksmiths. Locksmiths love to come on here and tell us that “of the door was installed properly…blah blah blah” yet almost every single door we have videos of were professionally installed doors by locksmiths.

Absolutely works. Firefighters have been using shove knives for decades. If you are having trouble figuring it out, email us at [e-mail] and we can help. Or you can just comment on videos and never learn.

If the lock has a deadpin you will never unlock it with that tool.! You conveniently showed it being used with electric strikes which do no engage the deadpin. Try again! As well, the mortise lock you showed with a the deadbolt would have been imposssilbe to open, @@JobTownTools

I conveniently have tons of videos of all different doors. Also, I even have videos that show how to get past the functioning deadlatch by using a wedge. Literally none of this is difficult, anyone with half a brain can figure it out.

I just tried it on a dead pin door. Took a little finagling, but I got it open. I’m sure there are some doors you won’t get open. Just another tool in the toolbox.
