I just built Enzo. Have been wanting to main him since I saw him on the game's website so I was very happy to see this video and spreadsheet. In the spreadsheet you write "Keep in mind that these are expensive and arguably unreasonable builds." As I am just starting with the character, and really the game, having just made it to hard mode, what would be a good starter build or goal? Is Enzo just an expensive character to get right or can he find value while still gathering and leveling up mods, unlocking mod slots, etc? Thanks.

i don't know if anyone mentioned, as it wasn't mentioned in the video. Enzo's ultimate cannot be overridden by itself. You must wait until it's completely expired to recast it. If you cast it during its duration, it will do nothing, and trigger the cooldown. To be a bit more specific, you can theoretically cast it while the turret is despawning, but it must be fully despawned before the animation of your ultimate reaches the point when the drone should be summoned. I'm not sure if it's a bug/oversight, but it's annoying. Also, multitalented only applies to skills if their cooldown is triggered inside the effect's buff (5seconds). However, if you're even a second off, it won't take, as the cooldown of your ultimate isn't on cast, it's upon the animation finishing. The animation of your ultimate is like 2-3 seconds. It's usually not an issue since you can cast it directly after pressing your shield buff. But let's say you get booped by the boss or an add, (like the beyblades in executioner), you will miss the window. i'm not sure if this is a bug either or if that's how all your skills should work.

@@CESR- pretty minor tip but I would highly recommend focusing on one weapon and decendant to fully build at one time this way while your maxing out mods you don’t have to worry about certain mods conflicting with a different decendants build and if you can always max out mods.

For focus fire, yeah the turret itself might bot do too much damage, but you forget you get double rockets when you press your 2nd ability, you get more charges, and the are available more often. Mixed with near infinite as long as you can crit, and the turret and rockets count for that as well when they crit. Focus fire is purely solo oriented (can still use in teamplay of course) and its what i plan to build, shields, effect range, skill crit. And be a caster with a good weapon. Tho still not fully decided on which weapon i want to focus him with

Something inthink would be important to mention at the beginning of build videos is the amount of a certain symbol you should have. For example to make this build on my enzo i would have to change a bunch of symbols that i already put in my module settings.

would highly recommend converting that weapon into toxic and giving one of the rolled attributes a status chance increase and if the quenching effect does the same thing as it does for fire then you not only have infinite stacks of applied toxic but toxic resist stripping away from them and that 210% increase... assuming its the same effect for toxic.

Just an observation, that 7% damage the weapon has, it doesn't go up with stacks. The only thing that changes with stacks is reducing the fire resistance of the enemy. You can easily test this by seeing your initial damage and stack up to 30 and see the new number, is 7%.... not 210%. I tested with only the fire mod to have less variables and it's pretty obvious to see that it didn't tripled the dps.

I don't know if you got him yet or not, but if you're still grinding him I suggest you do the outposts instead to farm the patterns. Get at least 3 to 5 pattern 028 since it has a 38% drop chance instead of the 6% chance you're trying to grind. Hope this helps you.

Maybe I'm missing something but I'm pretty sure defence doesn't apply to shields. I tried going to Kingston with just increased Shields, stood next to an explosive barrel shot it and I was left with 79 shield. I then kept the same increases to shield, but added mods to significantly increase defence then shot an explosive barrel and again I was left with 79 shield so it seemed to have no effect unless barrels/explosions bypass defence?

i would argue that the damage of the fourth ability looks like shit because the build is wrong, since the damage multiplier is so low, its better to invest on the multiplier more than just ability power. For example if your want a fourth specific build and focus fire, the best boost to it would be using: focus on singular + singular master since they give skill multiplier and that makes the turret hit 30k+ consistently. Apart from that skill cooldown and shields are king on Enzo

You have also real life fighter on lmg. To get 100% dmg after 10 bullets on weak point. Mental focus is ok but not sustainable because you are at max stack after 150 bullet only

So the first 150 bullets with have a have an average of 75% damage increase. Then he has almost 70 more in the clip thats full 150%. Real Life Fighter requires you to only hit weakspots or you will loose damage. Also the base damage increase raise the damage of you crits, even on weakspots

I wish someone made First Descendant content for the casual players. I wager we outnumber the lifers. All these build guides focus on what it can look like with a dozen catalysts, uber rare mods, and a mushroom. Casual players will never grind all that. I had one mushroom and one cat, used them on Enzo and trying to make him viable while farming. Still very squishy. Gave up on shield pool and at least ran a chunk of HP. Better but I obviously dont have the bandwidth to flesh out his duration for survivabilty at this stage.

@@Quasar634 Coming to the same conclusion. I was hoping that would be Enzo, as he fills the Vault hole, but he can do that at his current build anyway. Ajax seems to take a lot more investment, as his kit doesnt do a lot of DPS for solo. I hate the Ice queen abd the steal girl, both for the same reason: their 4 stops to target and kills pace. So my last option s Freyna. May work on her.

Enzo is super strong against order of truth units his 4 crits for 100k and his 2 can hit for 800k plus per shot its not a crazy nuke frame but in a full squad while in a order of truth dungeon youre hitting 30-60 mil plus if youre carrying. He still doesnt compare to bunny nukes 😭 rip my goat.

Kinda, in a full build you cant swap elemental mods cause they all have diferent polarities and you wouldnt have enough mod capacity

Yeah, it be great to get him, but I've been running for his components for days, hours at a time, and his parts will not drop. I have repeats of all sorts of other things I don't need, but they wont drop his component blueprints. So.. I'm about ready to say screw it. I've wasted enough time trying to grind him out, with little to show for it. And the annoying thing is, I already have all the other resources to build him twice over. yet the parts blueprints wont drop. And I'm quickly running out of patience. I'm a solo player, so.. I only have my rng, and so far.. it sucks in this game.

I would personally go with Firearm ATK, weakspots, crit hit and crit damage. I havnt done testing, but assuming you are playing Enzo those stats will stack with Firearm Enhancer and Perfect Support. I honestly think it will net you more damage overall. Maybe dont use crit damage in favor for Fire ATK.

They only buff the already existing element on the gun, you would need to add both the blue and purple at the same time for it to work properly. It works the same as skill power / skill power modifier: Blue elemental mods are a modifier, and the purple elemental mods are the skill power %

I realize it's a looter shooter. 30+ runs of a dungeon to get freyna cells. Oh well, maybe just bad luck. Did the same thing for Blair. Farmed everything except the blueprint relatively easily. Less than 4 or 5 runs for each piece. When it came to the blueprint, I gave up after run 30. Those are both 20% drop rates. Just didn't feel like wasting my time anymore. Great game, just needs some type of pitty mechanic.

Nice job on the video, It's not your fault, but lets be honest the grind is a killer, I have spent no less than 8 hours (not an exaggeration) trying to grind shape stabilizers for the Cell Blueprint and no luck at all. Farmed Many Amorphous Material Pattern 003 opened without stabilizers and it did nothing but raise my blood pressure. Really like the game but...
