BEST Dashcam w/GPS records Speed and Location A118 / B40

Does this model film in small segments like most dash cameras? I'm really trying to find one that doesn't film segments. I want to make driving/scenery videos in my classic car. I want to be able to film anytime ignition is on (so I don't forget), I want a speedometer to show how "spirited" the driving was, and I really want to have a single smooth video. I have a Lukas ARA and it does a fantastic job of everything except it films in repeating segments. So when I go back to replay videos there is a very defined pause/blank screen every 60 seconds while watching...really kills continuity. Good review. Thanks

You'd think on how handy they can be that dashcams would be standard in cars. More specifically, the dashcam itself would be fixed in the window without being able to be moved, only needing to insert to take out the card the files are saved to. It would also come with good audio quality and, at the very least, an accurate (as possible) speed display.

+The_Texican Good question! I had a suction cup dash camera and it would ALWAYS fall off if I left my car parked in the sun for more than a few minutes. That's one of the reasons I went with this one. The 3M tape holds up really well and hasn't fallen off once. Plus it's so much less noticable compared to having a clunky camera hanging down 4 inches.

On the small screen it shows your speed in kilometers per hour. Once uploaded to your computer the software will convert the speed to mph.
