Nice information and video on dehumidifiers. I have found absorbia of different sizes useful during monsoon. I have used them in cupboards and very small bedroom.

Thanks Sreelakshmi! Yes, I’ve been using absorbia in shoe racks and also have used silica in the past for lofts - mainly cos products like absorbia not being available ☺️

Been using Sharp DW-E16FA-W for almost a year. Two more points as part of my experience so far : 1) Make sure you have the ability to collect water outside the tank, as it automatically stops when the tank is full, while the humidity still exists and 2) preferably have auto restart options if humidity recollects again (which is missing in my model)

Hi gyanesh ji, just wanted your feedback for the sharp dehumidifier. I am living in Mumbai. Will it be useful here? Will it last for 4-5 years.

Hello Saumya, My query is regarding tge durability of these humidifiers. How long they will last on average? Also for Mumbai weather , will I get 3-4° lesser temperature if I use it along with the celling fan?

Amazon site says the upper-temperature rate of Power Pye as 5 degree Celsius. What does it mean? It won't work in hot summer seasons? Also about Sharp releasing ions, I have seen some online observations that if it purifies air but may also turn out to be a lung irritant fotr those suffering from respiratory issues?

Thank you for the awesome informative video, ma’am! Is it a good idea to use the Sharp 20 litre/day humidifier with the desert cooler for the living room in the July to September months, or should I go for a heavy duty exhaust fan instead? The living room does have limited cross ventilation, however was effective only from April to mid June.. Thanks
@TheGrapevineIndia2 жыл бұрын
Hi Bharadwaj, an exhaust fan could be quite noisy and does not really function for dehumidification. If your main function is dehumidification for which you need an enclosed space not a ventilated space - I recommend this amzn.to/3atDH3L. Its a dehumidifier + purifier but not an air cooler.

You are doing gr8 with all your videos. My query is, do we need one for the Bengaluru climate?if yes, what would be the better option(humidifier or any other option)for the mold that grows on the bed during cold season...thanks in advance

Hi Manjunath Holekade! If you have mould growing during the rainy or winter season, you can get this one amzn.to/3atDH3L.

Hi.. i love all your videos.. very informative and useful..Can you please help me suggest a good roti maker . Little urgent.. as i need to purchase within 2 days. Thanks in advance :)
@TheGrapevineIndia2 жыл бұрын
Hi Divya, sorry about the delay, I saw you had pinged earlier. If you are looking for electric roti maker, personal experience is that many ppl don’t like the quality and taste of it. Instead recommend you to get an atta maker and make roti on stove. Here is an atta maker reco - amzn.to/3mf9b0g or amzn.to/3zNXGCR

@@TheGrapevineIndia i don't get fluffy roti because i use hot plate and i don't have a stove. Hence looking for roti maker..

Got it. Amongst the ones I’ve seen, you can consider this amzn.to/3thgWGF. But want to mention again, it may not be up to the expectations of rotis from a regular stove.

Hello I have 5 questions 1) during monsoon season we DON'T face any such problem of molds, fungus etc but every year from Jan till March we face a very tough time, as almost everything is wet & sticky 24×7 during these months including walls, cupboards, shelves, furniture, utensils, skin, bed sheets, clothes & not only this I developed bronchitis & our TV panel got damaged incurring a heavy medical & financial loss due to humidity. So my question: is a De-humidifier sufficient enough to reduce the humidity in the air to the extent that such problems don't arise again in future ? 2) what is a healthy air humidity level ? 3) which device is required to measure the air humidity level & can you please share the link to one ? 4) I have a space of 1500 sqft, equally divided into three rooms that is 500 sqft each, so do I need to buy three separate De-humidifiers for each room (which would be too expensive & out of budget for me) or can I port the same dehumidifier in the other room once the humidity level in one room drops to the a healthy one ? 5) which is best de-humidifier available in market right now as per my requirement (offline or online) ? I will be really thankful if you can provide me an appropriate solution for my all my above stated problems as soon as possible, as Jan 2023 has already kicked in and humidity level has started increasing rapidly in my home. Thanks in advance & a very happy new year to you & your family.

1. Ideally yes 2. Typically between 30-50% 3. You can use a hygrometer amzn.to/3G9GviG 4. If humidity is high, yes ideally separate ones for each room 5. Sharp is the best e.g amzn.to/3vsUz1T followed by amzn.to/3z4SGeA Happy new year to you too!

@@TheGrapevineIndia I don't have so much space in bedroom to keep more devices. so I though an AC would do everything and I can buy that kind of AC

@@jitendravyas Air conditioners are natural dehumidifiers so you should be good if you get an AC with room appropriate tonnage, no need of an extra dehumidifier.

@@provocateur-in-chief Thanks. What do you mean by "with room appropriate tonnage"?

@@jitendravyas means tonnage based on room size, like for < 250 sq ft room 1.5 ton ac, < 150 sq ft 1 ton ac like that.
