The French Fruit Tart is best descried as a sort of Danish or simply, Pain Aux Raisin. You have the wonderful, Sweet custardy-cream setting the base for the Raisins (or Apples or Apricots) on top , and finished with an Apricot or Apple glaze. 🍥🥧😋 Very similar in Principle: but then , French cooking is always elevated.
