Super black for me has been the only shader that works wonderfully on the solstice armor set from 2 years ago, (the one with mohawks, and I believe when event passes started) plus solstice armor is the only way to technically have a different color glow with super black and it looks so damn nice

yo, for the Huskcrushers set at 4:50 i'd recommend using the descending echo gauntlets instead of wing discipline as they match way better with the rest of the set imo

For Warlocks one can use Executor's Will from New Monarchy. The red doesn't shade. Likewise with some of the Gambit armor that have the glowing snake design.

warlocks, if you have cunning of the contender (guardian games) it works extremely well with this, its full black with white glow whch makes it look super nice, you can also use the fortnite robe for the same effect and for anyone who likes the ghost from the vexcalibur exotic quest try it with this shader as well its pretty nice

for my hunter, I am running the Veiled tithes mask ornament, iron symmachy grip ornament, vallhund (sixth coyote ornament), iron symmachy strides, and efrideet’s iron cloak ornament. With super black, it’s pretty sick imo. Give it a try if you have the stuff.

i went for a medieval hunter look parts used are as follows EPIALOS - HELMET WHITE WOLF GRIPS - GAUNLETS PERUNS IRON CUIRASS - CHEST IRON PLEDGE - BOOTS WHITE WOLF - CLOAK I Usually use the shader iron countershade to give it a chainmail look but it looks ok in superblack too..but if u do use iron countershade throw superblack on mask because that jaw is part i use sb to hide it

It’s the fact that super black doesn’t work in everything like it is supposed to. And sometimes super black isn’t even super black on anything. The festival of the lost shader is darker then super black.

Really wasn’t happy about this shader but some goofing around with the boys led us to make nam-ek from man of steel on titan. It came out REALLY well despite us being up at 4 in the morning while making it😂

I feel Superblack, just like any shader, doesn't work well on some armor pieces. There are definitely instances where the all-black washes out a lot of detail as well as armor that has bits that don't shade at all. (Though that can be a pro or a con based on your preferences) I personally find armor that doesn't have a lot of complex patterns and tiny details work best with Superblack.

They should add a feature to where any exotic armor piece appearance can have a ornament from any ornament of that exotic and even any non exotic ornament depending on what piece and class it’s on and add fashion to the right sides similar to load-outs but it’d be for fashion. Cause a lot of the exotic armor looks are just trash and we want to always look good.
