Thanks man! The cordless ones LOOK like a beast and I figured it could get the job done faster, but for what I need I dont think I need a complete portable sander JUST yet. Thanks for saving me some cash for now!

Love that you mentioned the multi tool sanding adapter, it’s a great little sander for awkward spots! 👌

Picked up the 20V sander but returned it because the vibrations were much worse than my corded one. I thought it was broken. That counterweight in the corded model makes a big difference.

Good to know, guess will get the corded.

I sanded down 40 1x12x10s from garage shelf grade to basically prime grade with only my 20v and it’s still kicking just fine. It took me probably 1-2 hours a board so she’s racked up some solid hours. I want to get a corded now though that I’m doing a lot more woodworking at my house and not just at job sites.

Very informative video thank you. I was toying with getting the 18v (UK). As I already have the corded version I think I'll stick with that. Thanks again.

Can this sander used for small area of concrete floor? Thx
@toolrev Жыл бұрын
Sure, to remove paint or light coatings. Otherwise, to grind concrete or remove thinset you'll need a grinder with a diamond cup wheel.

Hi great vid,do you know if there’s an adapter to hook the cordless orbital up to a makita vacuum if so which one? Thanks
@toolrev4 жыл бұрын
The DeWalt DWV9000 dust port connector will thread onto a 1-1/4" hose. I just posted a DeWalt 20V vac video that shows it about 1/4 way through if you want to check out how it threads on.

DeWOBBLE batteries
@toolrev2 жыл бұрын
Slightly, but not really an issue. Been using it the last few days to sand beams with 60 grit and I feel no wobble so I may have overstated the issue.
@elcheche65612 жыл бұрын
@@toolrev just their battery connection is weak we used to use the impact wrench and it kept cutting off because the battery wobbled to much I haven't used the sander yet
